My computer crashed and I had to re-install and sync a new wallet. I lost the wallet.dat file. I had the private key printed out but all I get when I type in importprivkey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is a red arrow pointing to the right with a blank message after the rescan. My 10000 DNET are still in the address I sent them to but not sure how to get them back in my wallet. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the masternode address I created "getaccountaddress MN" associated with the "masternode genkey"?
How do I re-import that?

no they are not directly associated. Did you dump your private keys before your computer crashed?

No. I just have a copy of the masternode genkey on a piece of paper. Did I lose them for good?

No. I just have a copy of the masternode genkey on a piece of paper. Did I lose them for good? Oh, man. Yeah. The output from "masternode genkey" is not the same as the private key for your address. No coins can be spent with that. Edit: Backup, Backup, Backup

You can go ahead and add 10000 DNET at address DTrQVvAo5yR4wRuwY8SeFRKePvoMyE76Kd to the unspendable lost list.

Question for you: Sent some DNET from my local wallet (v. 1.0.2). Coins were "extra" beyond those in reserve for MN, so spendable. I got an error message about obfuscation (didn't write down the exact wording, sorry) and the transfer failed. I turned off obfuscation, sent the transfer again, and everything worked no problem. Great. But the failed transfer is stuck at the top of my transaction list and shows up as sent but "conflicted". Do I ignore it? Is there a way to remove it from the list? Is there a chance it'll un-conflict itself at some random time in the future and send itself again...? To be clear, I'm not missing any coins; there's just a random conflicted transaction sitting there, stuck at the top of my list. Thanks

the reason you got that warning is you selected some of the coins that were being obfuscated in the coin control area. It was telling you that the coins you were sending were not obfuscated. Not a big deal unless that was your goal. to fix the transaction, there is a repair wallet window, select Tools/Wallet Repair the recover transactions 1

Ah, excellent. Thanks for the quick reply. when POS kicks in what will be the minimum amount of time the coins have to be in the wallet before they stake?

Hey everyone, check your wallets, Masternodes and not. I have noticed a problem with a bunch of my nodes, I am not sure how widespread it is, but it was preventing Masternode payments for a few of mine. I haven't narrowed down the cause yet, but quite a few of my nodes were stuck at block 69085, and no amount of rebooting or restarting the wallets seemed to work. I ultimately had to delete everything except my darknet.conf and wallet.dat from the data directory and resync. They all seemed fine after that.

ok. im kind of a newbi with the wallets and i dont know much about coding. anyways, I downloaded the wallet (windows), it runs. But it wont sync, and says at the bottom that "no block source available." I never have run into that problem so I dont know what to do. It seems i'm missing some files, I cant find the .dat
Any help would be appreciated. I'm also curious as to how difficult setting up a master node is.

thanks for the info! indeed all of my masternodes (30+) and my contoller wallet are stuck on block 70751 however a restart of my controller wallet solved the problem for the wallet. for the masternodes the following procedure seems to solve the problem so far: ./darknet-cli stop ./darknetd ./darknet-cli masternode start ./darknet-cli getinfo
