seems they will try to make two market plays to gain shares, a) "evolution" “mom-friendly" setup and b) "tag like" address meta schemas (tagging long wallet addresses in some meaningful name spaces)

do not seem to worry about X11 algo/protocol , play continues to be "master nodes" and interest bearing accounts , dont also see POS there on the horizon they opting out for long lasting POW

but do people have 7000$ for 1000 dash needed to setup single master node ? not many!

so big massive update coming soon i go on holiday next week for 2 week just get back in time for POS. Need these masternodes make enough money so i can quit me job lol...can always dream.

Threads gone quite. Guess everyone just waiting for POS switch over. When will the nrw wallet release be ready for it? What will be included in this?

update: preparing to setup 42nd master node , assembling proceeds from 41 (complete 11K dnet assembled), creating VM instance  (done) transferring 10K to the node and waiting for 15 confirms  (done)

master node has been activated: "status" : "Masternode successfully started"  just in time for the fireworks

There is a new wallet release, majority of the new stuff is in the code, we updated to the latest Qt 5.6.1, so we could add some new features (coming soon) the have update the logo, and updated some textual items. This is a voluntary update, unless you want the new stuff. We are working hard on the PoS release..

Not exactly sure where you read that information, it is clearly stated that the coins are evenly distributed between the masternodes and the stakers based on 50% of the coins being held by the masternodes. It is a sliding scale where as if there are too many masternodes, the rewards will be higher for the staking wallets and vis-versus. If there are too many staking wallets then the rewards will be higher for the masternodes.

How can I tell if my masternode is staking? 3 days and no reward yet. I was staking fine before I upgraded from a Dell 980 SFF to a Dell 990 SFF (did a simple hard drive and RAM swap).

I ran the masternode start command and "Masternode successfully started".

Can anyone help?
