So shocked today, I just tried to login for the first time since my last login yesterday but now I got a notification that my account is blocked for 13 hours and 44 minutes because of too many failed login attempts.
How could it be possible while it is my first attempt since yesterday? Is there someone tried to access my account?
Hope my account will be un-blocked soon even though I dont mind to wait for almost 14 hours.

P.S : sent you a pm as well about this issue. Thanks before.

happens when you enter an incorrect password
I had same problem a few months ago,had to wait it out
correct me if I'm wrong but it is triggered after 2-3 incorrect passwords entered
it is to prevent anyone bruteforcing your account, but its a double edged sword
if some guy knows your login,he could try and login and block your access to the site

But it does not really a big deal right? Since everyone already got they 2fa to protect your account so this wont really have any affect on any of your account. I have the same problem too but not with casino site but on some exchange, everyday my email have been spammed by this and it just not 40 or 50 but almost hundreds everyday but I never bothet it until one day the hacker bored enough to stop his doing
Any updates panjul07? Is your account now unblock? I am agreeing with with my other fellow members as well, the security of Bitsler is something we should love not hate. The block may be somehow to prevent other people from logging in to your account and you may be right that someone is trying to log in to your account, it is something that Bitsler needs to clarify.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Sorry for late update, my account was unblocked few minutes after I sent a pm to Baryom and Gabriel. It seems there was someone did a bruteforce  login to my account but I do not received any verification email like usual when I logged in with different IP. It is my bad as well because I deactivated 2fa since few months ago. I will set 2fa again to avoid this kind of hacking attempt even though I do not have big balance.

Maybe we need to ask our campaign manager to remove or hide our Bitsler account name in the spreadsheet, so that its not going to be an easy target for hackers.

Many members used same user id as bitcointalk forum user id in bitsler as well. The correct solution to this problem is you should enable 2fa then no need worry. Why do you want to ask to remove your name from that list?

When you know that every week your money is going to deposit in that account then you should secure that account first whether your username is made public or not.

He does have a point: hackers know which accounts get surely funded in certain days. For the other Bitsler users there's a big uncertainty, not all bitcointalk users have Bitsler account and many are not bragging about it.
Of course, 2FA is a very good solution (I don't understand why people still keep money on accounts not secured with 2FA), but if a hacker finds a way to avoid 2FA (I remember it happened somewhere, not Bitsler, in 2016 or 2017) then he knows where to start.
Of course, I'm a little too paranoid, the real chances for 2FA to get avoided are way too small.

The best thing in my opinion to avoid account theft is to enable 2FA security. Another thing that might be useful to other users based on my experience is: never log out from bitsler. I've been using bitsler only from my personal computer and I've never encountered any significant obstacles when going to access.bitsler.

Aside from using your own computer in accessing Bitsler, never use a public wifi to access the site. I would rather spend some money to connect to a wifi but I will not connect to a free wifi for any Bitcoin transaction. I've heard of many horror stories of those who uses public wifi and their account got screwed.

This is a common misconception that most don't understand.

Bitsler uses SSL which is HTTPS in front of the url.

Basically using a public wifi is still secure because the data sent is encrypted. This is very similiar to how public keys are displayed over the bitcoin network and nobodies BTC is ever stolen as long as the private key is kept secret.

The way people can get their BTC or other private data stolen is if maybe the SSL is faked and the DNS is altered at the router level and its sent to a phishing site. However this is alot of work and most likely the owner of Starbucks would not risk doing this.

Again for these issues, the best solution is 2fa function to enable. As long as you got an additional security feature to your account then it is not so easy for hackers to take your money. But if you use only passwords to your accounts then what you said may be true. It is not so hard to enable 2fa feature but doesn't know why people don't want to enable it to protect themselves.

as to why many people ignore 2fa- is laziness, they just cannot be bothered
to either set it up or both set it up and use it afterwards
everybody thinks that if someone else is hacked that this sort of thing would never happen to them personally
so I know gamblers who are depositing more than 1 btc and do not care about their 2fa

Yes I agree that 2FA is a good answer to those who plans to hack their way in your account. I am using 2FA. The ony worry that I have now is that if I misplaced my smart phone or if someone stole my phone that will be troublesome, but, there's always a way to recover it if its stolen or misplaced. It will might take some of the owners time but it secure the account.

I hope those high rollers out there with a lot of coins stored in Bitsler are reading our discussion. It would really help them protect their account.

I'm a player who does not set2fa as a security bitsler account. but I just make it easily like set different passwords and strong (random), make it different with another account. I think all back to your-self how to keep  or protect the account so that there is no gap in the unwanted things.
simple enough to make your account secure:
1.Make sure that the website you are visiting is "Bitsler Official" (not phishing).
2. Your password must be different from the password on another website.

In case of hacking attempt, no matter how strong your password is then the hacker will be able to hack your account easier than if your account is protected by 2fa security. Of course it is our own right how to protect our own account, it is just a discussion how to protect our account better. Obviously it is always recommended to set 2fa especially for account that is often to have big balance.

2fa is the best solution when you have any substantial amount of coins in your account
as to why many people ignore 2fa- is laziness, they just cannot be bothered
to either set it up or both set it up and use it afterwards
everybody thinks that if someone else is hacked that this sort of thing would never happen to them personally
so I know gamblers who are depositing more than 1 btc and do not care about their 2fa

Having different password is not ideal also as you can easily forget them if you have multiple accounts with different passwords worst case scenario is your account will be locked just by you attempting to log in your account. Password managers are also not an option as I don't think that a software is 100$ safe from being hack. 2fa is one of the best ways out there but it will be useless if your email or phone is also accessible to the hacker.

This is bad advice.

You are better off using unique passwords WITH a password manager than using the same password WITHOUT a password manager.

Mostly whenever some service like the forum or Bitmain get hacked, usually the people who re-used the same password got robbed.

They usually didn't use 2FA, and even if they used 2FA, most likely the email password is the same as their crypto password and the 2FA can easily be reset.

Hey guys, I think it is enough to discuss about the 2fa because you are discussing it in general already and I think it should not be discussed here too much. Lets back to discuss about Bitsler, I'm wondering is there any plans to add more games and altcoins this year?

They already have a few good altcoins to use but not sure whether they need to add any more unless altcoins devs convince admin to include their coin-like adding Burst coin last year.

But we can expect more games adding to the site which can keep gamblers on site for more time. If they get bored they can easily move to another game instead of going to another site.

Agreed! Adding more games instead of new altcoin will be good for bitsler and its users. Ethereum, doge, burst and litecoin are more than enough. Adding the type of game will certainly attract new gamblers and make the old users stay in bitsler.

Instead of having one of them why not put both of them together? Get another altcoin to be played, may be like top 10 coin on coinmarketcap, this will boost the demand too. And new games so players not bored with just some dice games, may be plinko because I seldom see any site that put plinko as their best games, may be bitsler can Cheesy

We need more games of course, the more - the better. For example why would I have to play different game (for example poker) on different website while Bitsler can to add this game and has potential to be leader in it. Yes guys, you have great traffic but you can double it very easily by adding more games.
Also if we talk about altcoins, it will be good if they add dash coin.
