The block explorer is coming back up. Richlist calculations ran the server OOM last night. I'm shutting them off for the time being.

Just curious if any attempts have been made to market this coin to women beyond members of the adult industry. Women and gay men love sex too! As much as I love sasa9's posts, I wouldn't mind scrolling past half nekked male models if it's good for this coin and increases interest/adoption. I have no doubt straight males spend the most, but there are other markets to look at. PS: sasa9, expect a tip once the network upgrade is complete, new client is out, and cryptopia withdrawals are working again

Tbh, not specifically. By the same token, my philosophy has always been that, "No...sexcoin is not just for porn". I have purchased many a gift for my wife using sexcoin, and want to be able to do it again. So, we can definitely open the floor up for all the above! Because Sex is both common to all adults, and crosses so many psychological and cultural boundries, and also belief systems.. I really think there is a place in the sexcoin community for everyone. The one caution I would make is that this thread is for Sexcoin discussions. I think we all like the occasional eye-candy that shows up, but the meat of this particular thread needs to be discussion of the coin. I think I can assure people from past experience that if we get suddenly spammed with post after post after post of nothing but eye-candy, THIS thread will get locked, archived and trashed. I don't want that to happen again Perhaps there is a way to make a thread that's specifically for eye-candy? Maybe some of the old-timers that spend more time in other areas of the site could make suggestions on that.

I understand. I had just been at sexcoin.info and it just screamed hetero male at me. I then remembered reading an article recently on women's porn habits. I work in NYC so I've always got several openly gay coworkers and thought of them too. The one caution I would make is that this thread is for Sexcoin discussions. Maybe some of the old-timers that spend more time in other areas of the site could make suggestions on that. Yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of a subreddit or something. Unfortunately, I don't know any male models to recruit, LOL. Good to know about thread locking. I did used to mine SXC back in the pre-scrypt-asic days but this is my first bitcointalk account. After the scrypt asics came out, I got out of crypto until last July - I got in the game late and was a noob and lost a few $ buying overpriced hardware that didn't pay for itself. In any case, I randomly checked in on SXC a few days ago and saw the active development so I decided to buy some and get back in.

I think you have misunderstood what a currency or token is. When you have to more for bread at the store because of inflation. Nobody pay back what value you lost from you got the currency. Or if you buy a an other currency and it go down in price and get devalued nobody will pay you back. This is how the world of currency is, no matter if it is crypto or forex trading. If you buy a comodety or stock nobody pay you back if you loose, same with tokens in the crypto world. The big difference is that it is easier to make a cryptocurrency or a token. You only need a bit programing skills(outsorced or your own skills) and an idee. You understand nothing...im talking about faith in this coin , problems whit wallets and how fast they are fixed...i have 3-4 days whit 35k coins there...i dont know where...thats mean $$ blocked...no trade...no profit

Most people that have known me know that there has been nothing more important to me during this release. The wallets on livecoin and cryptopia are offline by their decision. I have been in contact with both and we are working on getting them reinstated. What you might not know is that I don't spend my afternoons drinking congnac with Cryptopia and the Livecoin devs. Communication is difficult between time differences and language barriers. Also, I am not responsible for poor trading practices. Playing arbitage between different exchanges is a very dangerous game. Especially during a pump that coincided with a new release. There is a right way and a wrong way to do it. That being said, here's an update: - Not a lot of miners have adapted the new code. I'm not sure why, most have gone radio silent. Some have not and I thank those that have been in contact with me.
- The new release's have been built and are ready to go out, we've been waiting for evidence that miners have adapted, which we are not seeing.
- Cryptopia reinstated the wallet briefly, but had to pull it back offline. I'm waiting on a reply from them as to why.

Lavajumper has put his heart and soul into this release (not to mention his blood sweat toil and tears) into this upgrade. There's bound to be one or two bugs... Let Lava do his thing and correct the errors as they are identified (we really need more people helping not knocking)

Update: New client, Blockchain issuesAs many have figured out, there has been a high amount of 51% attacks on the network. Some have succeeded. We are attempting to determine if this was intentional or a result of large miners being attracted by the price jump. Because of this, exchanges are doing what they feel is necessary to protect themselves and their traders from theft. We have sent messages to the one's we know about informing them of the attacks. What the Sexcoin network needs is miners to secure the network. I've purchase about as much as I can for the moment. We are working on a longer-term solution. More on this later. - Cryptopia's wallet is back online. They have pushed the number of required confirms up to 200.
- Livecoin's wallet is still offline. We've been in contact, I'm waiting on a response from them.
The release of the new client is going to go forward. I'm still watching to see adaptation from more miners. From what I'm seeing we will probably release to everyone else tomorrow.
