Great job dev. Sorry for the nervousness, is that I've been waiting for so long to make trade with my coins that I did not realize that you were doing everything in your power to improve our sexcoin community. Now we are waiting for the livecoin wallet to come back online, and we return to our trades. thank you so much.

Because of a large number of fraudulent entries from people trying to double-drip as of recent, I have been making a lot of changes. These changes are in place now, but more might be in order. I had to throw out a lot of entries prior to those changes being completed. Sorry that some valid entries were not paid because of this. So long as it is not abused further or in different ways, yes you can expect a drop from the faucet again, as of now. |

Waiting on mining output from lavapit.lavajumper.com, has been 2 days, no payouts, blocks found. Is it on the wrong chain?
Also, I see new code is out for Linux, eta for Windows? Still possible to GPU mine with cgminer 3.7.2?

Neilsg! Great to see you! Yes, my pool is a very 'low feature' pool. It won't payout until you've collected 100 sxc. PM me your mining address and I can check your accumulated balance, or possibly run a manual payout. Hopefully, we can release the Windows and Mac code tomorrow. Also, I'm not sure what the best miner would be. The code is based on Litecoin 0.10.4, so any software that mines that will also mine sexcoin. |

Thank you for the welcome Lava. I was actually surprised to see myself on the top 100 for Sexcoin... I remember the days when we'd get 5k-10k a week on GPUs... ahh, woulda coulda shoulda, i should have industrialized mining way back in 2010-2014...
I actually recently found my cold_storage sexcoin wallet, and my original mining wallet, backed up to Dropbox, but deleted long ago. Fortunately, I paid for the FOREVER restore, and got them back.
800k coins recovered.
But I wonder what happened to some of the HUGE accounts on the top 100, someone, somewhere, has 12 million. I wonder if that's possibly someplace like cryptsy or other lost exhanges that no one went back and recovered. Too bad, last trades from the top 2 biggest holders, was back in early 2015.

Thanks for that darkblade. Trading makes us all nervous, I really do understand the frustration.... I've BEEN THERE. I also hate feeling powerless when things go south. To be fair, I am the lead dev, and I do my best to accept the responsibility that is truly mine. Also to be fair, I'm not always successful at that. Update- Adaptation among the miners is progressing.
- The recent attacks on the Sexcoin Network is still an issue.
- I'm waiting to hear back from a couple of beta testers on the upgrade process
Quick Note: Because of the way the new client syncs, it looks like its going to take forever... its not. What happens is that it first downloads block headers. While this is going on only a trickle of actual blocks come in, so if you're watching the block height, or the little bar on the GUI, it almost looks like its not moving at all. When it has all the headers, it starts charging through the actual blocks, and it moves pretty quickly then. This occurs with both downloading the blocks or using the bootstrap method.

Multi-miner is a straight forward miner program to use - Your wallet must be up-to-date otherwise you won't be able to mine! (shame no one told me that years ago  ) You point your miner at your wallet with either the 168.*** or 127.*** in your config file as well as your user name and password. Good luck and keep us updated. |

I would suggest using a pool. When solo mining you either get lucky and get blocks or you dont. With a pool you get a nice constant income and dont need to worry about luck or not and with i gfx the chance is pretty low you will get lucky. |

Download multiminer from the link provided and while I was browsing through the GUI I got popup saying my computer was compromised... Looked like some type of fake virus alerts, some type of malware. Good experience for my first time trying to do this!

That sounds good too, however I am really kind of lost when it comes to mining and the configuration. I downloaded that multiminer and while browsing the UI I started to get popups that where malware. scanning my PC now. Any chance you could give me some suggestions or a link to a miner/tutorial for beginners. I have the Sexcoin wallet, there is a tab for mining there, does this allow you to mine? I have been pool mining siacoin using marlin and that was fairly simple to setup. |
