I would love to have he site promoted on the Sexcoin Main website I will get a banner made. Or if you could use the main page picture we could use that for now until I get something made.
The same goes for free sxc website. I will give you a nice 40% coupon for one item from the store for having my banner on your site. Thanks!
And I will get a spot on bitcoingarden when I get back to my place.
Way ahead of you! We're putting a 'merchant spotlite' together for you on sexcoin.info.

After hearing the complaints we discovered that the site was broken for mobile devices, which explained a lot. We're working on getting that fixed up. Jury is still out on switching back to the old site though.

Thank you guys for all your support. We had our first purchase and lots of visitors. Let's keep this going this way.
Once I am no longer a newbie I would be able to promote Sexcoin and the site with pictures of the products here.
http://free-sx.com/img/sxcmaid2.pngWhipped this up real quick and added to the faucet. Anyone is welcome to use it. Best of luck with your venture! EDIT: It is 728 x 239, not a 'standard' banner size. But it is a start!

EDIT: It is 728 x 239, not a 'standard' banner size. But it is a start! Looks great! Thanks CC! Update:There was an error in the recent bootstrap file we released which caused clients to jump to network downloading prematurely.The corrected bootstrap file is available for anyone wanting to download it in preparation for the release: https://github.com/sexcoin-project/sexcoin-bootstrapThe bootstrap file is ONLY BLOCK DATA. We haven't officially released the new client. It is available so you can download it in preparation for the new client. From the README: https://github.com/sexcoin-project/sexcoin-bootstrap- Download bootstrap.dat.gz OR bootstrap.dat.zip from github or mirrors.
- Verify the integrity of the compressed bootstrap.dat file with the checksums.
- Decompress to obtain bootstrap.dat.
- Put it into the Sexcoin datadir. This is the same folder that contains wallet.dat and the blocks folder.
- Delete bootstrap.dat.old when syncing is finished if you wish to recover some storage space.
If you are starting a brand new client, you may need to: - run the installer
- start the client just long enough so that it builds the directory structure
- shut it down
- copy the bootstrap.dat file into the data directory
- then start it back up
DO NOT USE AGE VERIFICATION UNTIL THE NETWORK EXHIBITS SUPPORT!!!!!

v0.10.4.0-2067064 (Aww, shucks thanks!) I've installed 10-40 over the test version which I last used in February, I have and the wallet doesn't seem to want to budge from there. Should I start afresh? *edit* Have received 170 MB while typing, so something's happening...

Should I start afresh? *edit* Have received 170 MB while typing, so something's happening... check the 'network traffic' and the 'peers' tab. 'In: 0' usually happens when you either don't have a port forwarded back from the firewall, or you don't have listen=1 set. Green lines on the traffic graph is incoming traffic. It will still sync and function properly with 'In: 0'. From my desktop installation, been using it for months now: EDIT* On wallet not budging... probably because of the "header's first" download method. When syncing from being offline for a long time, it will still download headers first. You can look a the debug.log file to confirm that stuffs actually happening. I'd like to get better reporting back to the GUI, but that's a bit down the road.

Interesting coin, sorry for new question. Just a lot of posts to scroll, I have read some, not all. Is there any adult affiliate programme that you have approached, for the usage of SXC, instead of normal methods? It may be a way for some who are excluded to become part of this adult industry.

I'm scratching my head, this is what my sexcoin.conf file looks like: rpcuser=Blah rpcpassword=Rattle rpcallowip=(a number / blah)
rpcport=3338 # rpcport=9561
listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 testnet=0 gen=0
addnode=76.74.177.199 addnode=67.166.243.240 addnode=coins.prohashing.com:6065 addnode=sxc.e-pool.net:8880 Not sure when it got so mixed up - did the new wallet comment out the rpcport=9561 ? Are the figures correct? I thought I had more nodes in the list, will check the list over at the https://sexcoinforum.com/ site.

I noticed my pool was going through a lucky streak. So I figured I'd give it a shot. AGE VERIFIED TRANSACTION! ON THE BLOCKCHAIN! This doesn't mean age verified transactions are stable yet, it only means I GOT LUCKY! What it does mean is that they work Verify via this http://be.sexcoin.info/rawtx/80cee7a68b8d9368ccd264a40d0f1f9bc39bbf5fe96ec71bb01ce4a468901ddf , and look at the version number on the transaction. Its in cement.

I thought I had more nodes in the list, will check the list over at the https://sexcoinforum.com/ site. I'm betting that port entry got changed when we were messing around months ago. iirc , we were getting your clients to all 'play nice'. As far as nodes: addnode=dnsseed.sexcoin.info addnode=dnsseed.lavajumper.com addnode=74.208.174.17 addnode=66.172.10.97
should get you up and going.

Yeah, its a lot to read through. We've approached a few adult affiliate sites and have not had much luck. We'd love to get one on board. If you know someone that can actually make a decision in one of them, please send them our way.

Hey lava, can you "un-noob" my sexcoinforum account? I just signed up and tried to post this but couldn't due to external link. SUBJECT: Installing v0.10.4.0 on Ubuntu Xenial 16.04 Abbreviated instructions with no explanations for those that just want to get it going with minimal reading or decisions. #install dependencies sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev autoconf pkg-config libssl-dev git libboost-all-dev libminiupnpc-dev #install db4.8 from a bitcoin PPA sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev #install GUI dependencies sudo apt-get install libqt4-dev libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler #clone the latest tagged stable release. Detached head warning is fine and expected git clone --branch v0.10.4.0 https://github.com/sexcoin-project/sexcoin.git#build it ./autogen.sh ./configure make sudo make install LMK if there are any errors or if you have issues.

Just to double check, no work is ever done in master and it only ever contains the latest official stable release? Up until 0.10.4.0 all work would be done in master. That changed when we started working on this release. Now only minor edits are done in master, branches are merged in and releases tagged. Master is the official release.
