I am from a small vilage in a poor country. in my vilage most people even don't know what is computer and what is internet.. so there is no chance about bitcoin. no one know what bitcoin is. sometime I tried to explain my friends about bitcoin but they don't listen me.
But, in my circle about bitcoin people are showing interest now, initially they find hard to adopt but now they are showing more interest after seeing the recent growth of bitcoin prices.
But I have many friends who are making money with bitcoin and trading bitcoin. We are strong believer of bitcoin ecosystem. We often plan meet ups on weekends. Meeting with friends get me easily promote bitcoin to some new people as always our meet ups get some new people.
That's clever. I think it is a good way to make people think positively towards bitcoin. Reproduce the community is a good one to get people to join the bitcoin such a way that you are using. It will change the views of ordinary people about bitcoin.

My parents have no idea about Bitcoin and don't think that I should have even invested. I am such a rebel for investing.

Mostly, they are not interested anymore about this, as they already learn and know how to live their life, but if you tell them and explain to them what you are doing, probably they will support you...  Smiley

I'm from The Netherlands and most people around me think they are too late to join the party and that all the gains have been made already.
Next, they keep asking me how it is doing when the price was dropping down from 1200, and after that they never mention it anymore.
I have the same problem like some other friends that I checked with my doctor friend in Texas and he seemed to be laughing about bit coins and said he does not believe on digital currencies at the moment and I was surprised that he, being computer and internet literate has no idea about bit coins.

Yes I think bitcoin is bit confusing at the initial stage, many of them find it complicated, and the older generation would never accept of investing their money into a digital currency.

Only one of my friends is into bitcoin.
Others see it as some misterious, elaborate internet hoax.
They are some times intrasted, they ask questions but mostly thats it.
It puzzles me why people dont like to learn that new part of technology that bitcoin is.
They are scared of loss? Maybe afraid of scam?
Long time till BTC hit the everyday life of average.

Yeah even I told my friends about it but some of them thought that its a waste of time and money and some who are tech savvy then found it interesting and already started  to earn bitcoins.

good to hear that your friends already know bitcoin before you came in... I myself, I didn't know anyone who could tell me what it is and what to know about it, so I always need to use google every now and then...  Smiley

Most of them don't know about it. They heard it maybe but don't participate.
For them bitcoin is criminal money and therefore they avoid it. Which is said since the last years there was no bad PR for bitcoin.
