as far as i know, there will no bank that accepting bitcoin now but i am sure if the government is ready to accept bitcoin like what japan does, then the bank will accept bitcoin too. there is more thing that we need to prepare to get synchronize with the bank and it need time before everything is ready and set up so better we do other thing and collect more bitcoin.

Banks will start accepting bitcoins only if bitcoins gets support from the Government and if not then I don't think that banks will ever support bitcoins as its an threat to their banking system so it will depend on what action Government takes in future.
yes, maybe the banks will start accepting bitcoin bitcoin if the government made it legal. but, to date, no official decision of the government in cryptocurrency world, so far, there are no banks that accept bitcoin. but, I think it would be a very good thing if the bank accepts bitcoin.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I think more and more parties become more open with bitcoin. little by little progress in the acceptance of bitcoin legally in the United States there are financial institutions that accept bitcoin named Wedbush Securities which are also affiliated with the bank Wedbush. they think technology virtual currency is a good thing.

I think it take a long process, we all know that all the bank transactions supervised by the Government, bitcoin is anonymous so anyone who trades with bitcoin surely must get government approval.

South Korean government is on plan of their own digital coin termed as BOSCoin.

wow, this is something new.
Could you provide a proof? please Smiley
Yeah Countries planning to have their own digital coin is good to have a development in a better way as bitcoin and several digital currencies are gonna make a financial change

Paraphrasing Torvalds, talk is cheap, show us the coin

Really, how long are they going to be planning to have their own digital coin? After all, I've been reading and hearing about such plans for well over a year already, but they are still planning and planning. I'm afraid the sad truth is that no government is ever going to release such a coin. If it would be decentralized (read, allowed to be mined by anyone), why would they ever risk to create a competitor (basically, another Bitcoin) to the currency they already have and fully control? Otherwise (if it will be centralized), how will be different from a digital non-cash version of the currency they happen to issue? In short, stop repeating bullshit

I am sure that no bank accepts bitcoin as a deposit or for any other means. You will find some online website like Btcpop who accepts bitcoin as a deposit, but again they are not regulated by any regulatory body, so it is very risky to keep your bitcoin with them.

Since bitcoin has not regulatory authority, it will be a big challenge for the banks to accept bitcoin as a deposit. Because bitcoin is not an official currency and no country has completely accepted bitcoins in to their ecosystem. I am sure that Banks will not accept bitcoin as a deposit anytime soon.

It's more that they are interested in the technology that powers Bitcoin (the blockchain), and not so in the coin aspect of Bitcoin. Financial institutions are looking to have their own (centralized) version of the blockchain developed. So far, I haven't seen or heard of a bank or any other financial institutions to have incorporated Bitcoin. It's just the blockchain that they are interested in, and nothing more.

Banks and bitcoin contradicts and many authorized persons can't accept the behavior of bitcoin telling it is not how a curency behaves . There are many hurdles but if there is a massive increase of bitcoin users worldwide . We can make those people consider the potentials of bitcoin .

There is none right now but there are a growing acceptance of bitcoin in some countries like Japan where there is a huge increase of merchants accepting it from 2015-2016 . It's not much but Philippines releases new regulations about virtual currencies where they see it as having potential to facilitate financial inclusion .

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

my knowledge no, there is also the exchange, many are hoping this matter, let no real place of bitcoin

No , I think there are some banks may be private that are accepting .
I am.saying this because about 2 years ago I readed a article in the Google that ATM machine was available for Bitcoin , So here can say without any doubt that availability of private Bitcoin banks are possible for such types of country like Singapore .
Well here the Bitcoin's popularity doesn't need any bank to make deals because already many persons are making buy/sell as a trading job .
Which is good for OP to make deal with Bitcoin for buy and sell .
With bitcoin ATM we cannot say that these are provided by any bank which will accept bitcoin but the bitcoin ATM are provided by the bitcoin supporters and developers and they have their own companies for that. I think these ATM are provided by the visa and mastercard providers.

Wouldn't really make sense for a bank to accept Bitcoin unless they see a reason that they'd be losing out on a lot of potential revenue due to not accepting it. Like, lets just say that a lot of people wanted to pay their interest on a loan for some sort of item in Bitcoin I highly doubt they'd be caring (if the customer paid the fee both ways) and they'd be doing fine with this sort of system.

Though, a bank wouldn't be accepting Bitcoin as a way to deposit / withdraw as it wouldn't have any sort of gain for them in the least.

I think it take a long process, we all know that all the bank transactions supervised by the Government, bitcoin is anonymous so anyone who trades with bitcoin surely must get government approval.

This too, as the banks are going to be highly regulated by the Government who has a vested interest in not allowing Bitcoin to thrive. The governments are going to be the people who ensure that Bitcoin isn't accepted and furthered by people.

So no, no real national / regulated bank is accepting Bitcoin nor will they probably in the near future.

i think bitcoin do not need bank because bank has a lot of charges and tax i think bitcoin is better on their own position because currently bitcoin have too much lowest fees so bitcoin do not need any bank.

due to changing trend of the people government must be thinking about to create their own digital currency which can be applicable in a particular area but still i do not think that the will compete with bitcoin.

Situation at germany: Fidor, Munich located bank once did that. They had for some strange reasoning Ripple in between their payment ways offered, but not Bitcoin.
Due to some trouble with the exchange site partnering and perhaps lack of revenue from this channel now slowly closing down operations. Got my account cancelled.

No banks wanting to accept digital currency, bank is fiat/physical money based to keep in their vault. i think if bitcoin create physical paper/coin money banks will start adopting bitcoin for deposit and withdraw.

I would expect that banks wouldn't accept bitcoin that would destroy their own centralized fiat currency.
Unless there is a bank made specifically for bitcoin alone but that would also destroy bitcoin's decentralized feature
For now, bitcoin should stay at it is cause it's better that way.

I think there is still no banks around the world that accepts and uses bitcoins as deposit for their service. But maybe this year or in 2 years from now we can see one too, since japan already accepted bitcoins as one of their currency this may push other countries and services to push more on bitcoin on the world

Right now there are banks that have invested on bitcoin indirectly. In a recent news came to know a Bank in Austria is planning to function completely on bitcoin. I'm not how true the news is, but expect the same to happen within few years time as stated in the above quote.

Nowadays many bank are accepting bitcoin But I think you need an application or web wallet that can exchange it into fiat and transfer it into bank. In my country we an application or a wallet that can transfer your bitcoin into your bank account and I think many wallets are supporting it too today.
