Not yet my country accept Bitcoin.  So it's impossible to accept in our country bank. But I have heard some country accept Bitcoin on bank.  Specially India some bank accept Bitcoin.  They had own Bitcoin wallet for example unocoin wallet. They can buy or sell on bank from this wallet.  That means their bank accept Bitcoin.

Swissquote, an online broker offers to trade BTC.

Falcon Private Bank offers to trade BTC (as well as Ether and Litevcoin in the near future).

I think it's going to be difficult for banks to accept bitcoin, this is because banks will comply with the bitcoin banned government regulations, and until now I've never heard of a bank receiving bitcoin.

I don't think there are any bank accept Bitcoin all over the world cause Bitcoin is not legalized worldwide beside Bitcoin has a lot of risks and it's easier taken advantage to commit crime than cash cause Bitcoin transaction is almost anonymous. Beside when someone know about Bitcoin and its potential I think they will prefer invest in Bitcoin to Bank cause the amount of money they can get from Bitcoin always better than the monthly interest from bank so I think bank will never accept Bitcoin on the other hand if any country legalize Bitcoin it'll be big problem for banks in there Smiley)

I do not think there are any banks or institutions that accept bitcoin storage, because bitcoin I do not think banks need to save because bitcoin is not the same as physical money, I feel it is enough to keep the bitcoin we have in the wallet.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

I don't think so, the thing is the banks only accept money that is in a form of cash. It's like they cannot store something that has a physical form to give it value. Unless, the bank adjust to accept, or they make a physical form of bitcoin.

That's a very impossible thing, we can see that many banks in every country do not accept bitcoin, even they think bitcoin is their biggest rival, not only that in every bank do not want to see their caster transactions, unlike bitcoin where we can see or tracing the address of anyone who is emblazoned from the biggest person who holds the bitcoin itself, so in my opinion it will not happen until whenever, if that happens the possibility of the country already discussing with the government ...

I agree. It is truly impossible that bitcoin will be accepted by banks. They are completely in rival. Bitcoin is created to create peer to peer transaction. That's why bank hates bitcoin because bitcoin don't need banks to transact. No tax to be deducted by the governments. And I think that's the most wonderful feature of bitcoin and that's why people are chasing it.

So far in my country, there is no bank yet will accept bitcoin. But im not sure if there is really a bank that will accept bitcoin.
A bank accept Bitcoin means the government in that country also accept Bitcoin is legal.
But today, we just have Japan is the first country accepted Bitcoin is legal.
Other countries still considering, to be honest, I can understand the opinion of the government in those countries.
They do not want to give us permission can control our money without the management of the government.
I see.. so, so far japan banks are accepting bitcoin. I thought even US banks are accepting it already. In our case,i think this is way too far to happen. But maybe it things will run smoothly looking forward on it. In terms in Government sides, security is the main reason and absolutely understand that. You see in bitcoin they cant trace your identity. Its possible to do illegal stuff through online, banking transactions. I guess Government for sure are skeptical about this.

As far as I know there's no bank yet will accept bitcoin but who knows maybe next year. I think bank does not accept bitcoin now just because there's only few people who know about it hence, it will takes time for it be accepted in the whole world.

- I think banks always want to accept bitcoin because bitcoin can help banks grow in the trading system, many people bring Bitcoin deposited in banks, banks will also have many benefits but their government does not allow them to do that. The government can not control the bitcoin, many people will use bitcoin to evade tax and money laundering, this affects the economy, they will not let that happen. Unless the government is able to control and manage the transactions of Bitcoin, if not, the bank will never be able to accept Bitcoin

I don't think central banks would allow its banks to accept bitcoins and even if it does then it will just exploit the core concepts of crypto-currencies. Moreover, if banks start to accept bitcoins or make transactions with it then there is a possibility of imposing tax on it.

When I want to en-cash my bitcoin through bank it automatically converted into fiat so I think they don't accepted bitcoin since it will still converted into fiat when we want to en-cash it since our country doesn't have any coin or paper to give to us just to make it real money. LOL. But I think they are just not yet invented a card that can use to debit with bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not legal in every country. But when a country legalize Bitcoin as a currency many bank of that country accept it. Recently in Canada, the first ATM has been established to withdraw the money from the Bitcoin currency. As day by day its getting popular among the countries and many countries are starting to legalized Bitcoin, many bank are accepting Bitcoin . The number of those banks are increasing day by day.And yes, many bank accept Bitcoin.

One of the most common rules in investing or having a transaction with the bank must be visible by the eyes of their employees and must be known of course because that is of the very basic law in central bank the know your client so how can they know their client if were anonymous to them. So that is one of the basic reason we would not be accepted by banks.

For now there is no bank accepting bitcoin because most bank in almost all the countries work under the regulation of central bank. The bank that will accept bitcoin have to be in the country that is officially accepting bitcoin. But there are certain blockchain oriented concepts that are coming up which will integrate bitcoin and fiat banking.
