Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

for now i don't see any banks where they accept bitcoin as a matter of currency, most probably because government have shutting them down because of its decentralization.
Here in our country there was no bank that accepts bitcoin yet, even if you will open an account to them and tell them that your money will come from crypto they will not honor it and won't let you open an account because for them crypto is not a valid source of income or form of investment they are not yet aware of it.

There is no bank that accepts or embraces bitcoin. First the bitcoin is their competitor. Another is that it does not support bitcoin. Another thing, why would banks give support to bitcoin if they are competitors? I kean why would you help your enemy? So i think that banks do not embrace or accept bitcoin. Unless they are indirectly transacting to each other.

I think bank and bitcoins are rival because people turn to bitcoin in terms of investing. They are also have different concepts and systems that contradicted each other so i think there are no banks that accepts bitcoin.

The governments and the banks wanted to shut Bitcoin down because it was too threatening to the fiat money. They do not like bitcoin and do not want to accept it either.

Banks have a cozy deal, money is free

BTC U must mine or work/purchase, and can't pull it out of your ass.

Why would a banker want to change his model of biz?

BTC will replace banks, because little people will quit using banks.

The banker system is one of 'debt' where all people are slaves to the bank, why would they give up that relationship to the little people, the slaves.

Free men owning bitcoin, might give the slaves new ideas

Debt Slaves are slaves

No, there is no bank want to accept bitcoin as their alternative. Because holding bitcoin is so risk. The price maybe drop so deep in a minutes, it will make bank suffered losses that are not small.

Banks don't wish to accept bitcoin reason behind government regulate those,
Finally both stand against for bitcoin and they wishing to destroy bitcoin.
They deny it due to the threatening of fiat money.
How ever we can make some transactions through net banking with few wallets,
To transfer our currency to them and they credits the bitcoin into our account.
To be added those wallet owners charge some transaction fees.
We can strongly expect banks will replace with bitcoin in future.
As we expected it is even happening at Japan the only place where bitcoin is accepted by bank at Tokyo in few stalls with a sign board of "accepted here" it's a strong step for our bitcoin reputation.

I didn't sure if any one of the bank accepting bitcoin to keeps. Why you didn't do save your bitcoin in some legit websites that like a bank account. Just create your own wallet and encrpytion key. To make it sure it safe, don't keep it in one account only. Try to make at least 3 account to save your bitcoin. We didn't know what will happen next. What if the your account was hack and take it from you. So be sure to be wise in your decision to make.

No. i dont think any bank accepts bitcoin because bitcoin is not controlled by the government and all the banks are being controlled`so i think that those 2 won't ever combine because bitcoin is a unstable coin aswell.
No few banks is accepting bitcoins, as you said it is controlled by governments and they have not permitted the use of bitcoin, once they permit can use the bitcoin.
Maybe if the bitcoin is can be used  and can be legal in many country. And i think if bitcoin accept in bank, our government will controlled it. And if that happen government always likes to put itself in the center of things, so they just can't stand the fact that they are issuing laws, and people might obey them.

Sometime I was thinking why they don't do together between bitcoin and Bank? It could be big deal between them tho. Well,  we just want the better thing with their both future.

I doubt there are any financial institutions accepting bitcoins as deposit. The closest thing I know to a bitcoin bank is online wallets. They can store your bitcoins online and make it's secure by encypting it with a special password. Online wallets have no interest and middlemen to control your bitcoins.

I never thought about it. I think it will not exist because bitcoin has not been legarized in many countries. Bitcoin must be recognized by the government then there will be bitcoin bank.

So far no bank has accepted bitcoin, at least not in recent years. Bitcoin still has a long way to go, but Bitcoin's potential is enormous. Smiley

In my country government is planning to regulate bitcoins, so acceptance by banks is not possible. banks works on centralised principal whereas bitcoin function is completely decentralised, so it is difficult for a bank to accept it. People are using bank funds to invest in bitcoins.
After reading some articles on internet i came to know that, in 2015 Barclays, under a pilot scheme, people will only be allowed to use the crypto currency to make donations. Barclays is teaming up with bitcoin startup Safello to build a program that allows charities to accept bitcoin.
In recent time Swiss private bank Falcon has become the first mainstream wealth manager in the country to allow clients to invest bitcoins in their portfolios. This bank has been given the permission  to accept the cryptocurrency by the Swiss financial regulator.

I don't think theres a bank accepting bitcoin in their services because bitcoin is just a online currency  there is no country announced that bitcoin is a valid currency. But in the nearly future i think banks will accept bitcoin if its possible. Just save your bitcoin or invest it in a legit website that can profit like a bank. For now bitcoin has long way to go to accept to become a valid currency.
