What about XRP, I hear they are working with several banks. Including Indonesia, this is a good thing and an irony for the Indonesian government. They ban Bitcoin but cooperate with XRP.
strange.
XRP is a bankers coin, I believe the system is not decentralized and the supply is too high that is why we can see it can easily be manipulated
as I believe investors are holding a great volume of XRP which when they make a move it also move the market.
I rather focus investing in some coins like those who offers card or gambling casino platforms.
No one said Ripple is a cryptocurrency for banking system. If Ripple has that nature, we can not call it is a cryptocurrency and it is only a digital currency centralized, manage by the banks. Of course, it has used for the activity of banking system recently, but it does not mean it is a crypto for banking!

For now, I don't think any bank exist to accept Bitcoin because they act anonymously and independently. Plus, they might increase the transfer fees as well.

Your actually wrong mate, there's a bank that accepts bitcoin here in Philippines which is security bank, and even remittance center which is cebuana lhuillier. And i used them both for cashing out my bitcoin using my coins.ph wallet, but it's more preferable to use the bank for cashing out because it has a zero fees every time you cashing out.

maybe his words are right that no bank accepts bitcoin here in the Philippines, because bitcoin is still needed to convert into Philippine money before the bitcoin arrive at the bank or remittance center for the convert process only coins.ph are able to convert our bitcoin to peso money. so maybe they will say that the security bank or remittance are accepting bitcoin here in the philippines because of we can cashing out our bitcoin using coins.ph wallet. But the OP's question is "does any bank accept bitcoin?"(directly no need to convert) maybe in other country, but here in philippine no bank actually receives bitcoin.

I don't have an idea if there are banks in my country, the Philippines, which accept Bitcoin as a currency directly. I've only encountered banks when I'm cashing out through the use of my coins.ph wallet converter namely, Security Bank, BPI, BDO and remittance center like Cebuana Lhuillier Express Padala, Palawan Express Pera Padala and a lot more. In this sense, there are no banks in the Philippines that accept Bitcoin directly, Bitcoin must be converted into the local currency of the Phillipines before proceeding to the banks.

As far as I know, it doesn't seem to be.
BTC can cause certain blow to the bank the current system, so if the bank to support the BTC deposit, so may be a very dangerous thing, may lead to their own demise.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
for the time being in my country does not exist because it has not been officially opened bitcoin as the official currency in my country but for other countries I think maybe there are already banks that cooperate with bitcoin

As of now, there's still no banks accepting bitcoins. Because it is not yet fully recognize by the government's financial institution in a country. They can accept the money converted from bitcoin but if bitcoin itself, it can't be or no one accepts in the banks.

To be honest, I never heard before or even read an article that any banks here in the Philippines are already accepting bitcoins because the last time I transfer money in my bank account, I went to the bank myself and pay my bills with my fiat. In my opinion, if other banks accepted bitcoin in their system and process it might lead to a bankrupt or something.

I think yes because how i can exchange Bitcoin into fiat money if no bank accepting bitcoin, like herein my loclation i can sent bitcoin convert ped into cash money using cashless withdrawal into atm machine.

But hoping banking system accept Bitcoin deposit as savings accounts, but need to study how is this working in the proper way and how to get interest profit if bitcoin accept in the bank as deposit saving.

Then how can you make your cashing out if those banks and remittance center doesn't accept bitcoin? Don't you know that coins.ph is one of those companies that applies for the regulatory approval here in our country which is the Philippines, and one of those trading platforms that has been approved by the BSP (bangko sentral ng pilipinas).

.
it would take years to analyze and study about the possible effect of banks being able to process bitcoin on their system they dont want to lose big amount of money and the implementation would take long and I think it will need to be build from scratch . Mass adoption of bitcoin will be the most big impact to make banks recognize how important bitcoin is

I think it is very difficult at this stage. Bitcoins are not yet accepted by the mainstream market. At least people should know bitcoin and let it step into people's eyes before they can do it.
