Then all our coins will be practically useless. Unless we create an alternative to the internet. But I think the internet will never go out.

If the internet stops working, then Bitcoin will also disappear is if it never existed. Without the internet, Bitcoin is nothing. But at this day and age, the internet is everything though.
Definitely if the internet goes down bitcoin I guess will be useless too because internet is the only way to get access on it and at the same time it is the only means to get in touch with bitcoin. And if it is happen I would probably be feel sad about it because I know I will get loss one of my source of income and my investments too.

Like someone said on this thread, if internet goes down, the thing that it will worry the most wont be bitcoin. Everything you do nowadays is used in the internet. Cash? what cash if you cant get any from the ATMs? (yeah... Internet is a b**ch) Cars? They do need gas... and when gas foes out? ou do they get new gas, shout? Phone... once again, without internet todays phones are useless(yeah... internet is a bi**h) And could go on... and on... and on...

Why make such a scary topic? Not only will Bitcoin disappear, so will everything internet-related like Facebook, YouTube, our beloved Online games. May such a horrid thing never happen in my lifetime.

With no internet...what happens to porn?
I believe that is the more crucial question.
Aw not supposed to., you compare a Bitcoin with a porn, it's tickled indeed both are will be disturbed and disadvantageous to us, because surely any activities what we do which's moves in a cyberspace will be distracted if the internet connection is down and our activities will be left behind from the latest such as price movements on crypto, not a porn lol. By the way but I'm sure the Internet will continue to exist until the future and will be more useful for everyone.

Basically, Bitcoin would also go down. Bitcoin needs internet to function and if internet really does goes down, then I think it's the end of the line for Bitcoin. We then are forced to use fiat currencies.

If suddenly it happens that the Internet disappears, then no one can withdraw their savings on electronic purses. So I think that you need to keep money just under the pillow

given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?
home internet and mobile internet goes down
do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away

Think of a much lighter scenario, than a nuclear war. If that is the chaos you worry about, there are more to think about than facilitating bitcoin. But, getting back to the question of what will happen to bitcoin in case the internet goes down, Its would probably a major breakdown on the operation of bitcoin. Bitcoin as a digital currency relies mostly on the net, almost all of its transactions and services are done online, so that would result to a negative impact on bitcoin, unless corrected immediately.

Bitcoin won't be able to operate. No Internet no bitcoin as simple as that. Unless something new will come , which we don't know of yet.

If the internet goes down, Bitcoin is rendered useless, you pretty much can't do anything. But I doubt that the internet will ever go down, as in like fully shutdown across the whole world.
I think if the internet is goes down it would be a big problem to all bitcoin users, traders and investors because the price of bitcoin will also goes down or it will become $0. Furthermore, it will also have an negative effect in bitcoin community and in bitcoin industry.
