There is a mandatory update of the mining protocol today:
All old clients won't work.
Decred has made stake version 3 active, all blocks have to have stake version 3 included in the header. All old versions of the mining software ignore that field and therefore hash incorrectly.
What will happened with unconfirmed transactions? For example with this https://mainnet.decred.org/tx/6c3adfcc769291e9cc724ae9106a862446444ab110890a6db02fba578468686d |

No miner yet - i've contacted the sgminer and claymore devs No problem, they'll be included in the next block Again a reminder: All old versions of the miner don't work - you have to use the new version |

could be nice to say to Claymore guy to use a proper miner version (with a number) also, i will blacklist others from yiimp ("dual" "lbc")

Hi, So i tried to download the newest cc miner shown in the link https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminerI clicked on clone/download It saved out a bunch of those files listed. What do I do with all these files?. Does it need to be compiled in visual studio or something? Their's no executable ccminer. I've been mining decred with ccminer 2.0 but I can't seem to get this newest one working. I'm not a programmer or anything, just a regular user so sorry for not knowing, I do wish to know more, Thanks everyone |
