"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

I think the best way to spend it is by being cautious of when the price rises, and when it drops. You don't wanna sell when the price is low.

When the price rises to $1500 later this year, I will spend some of my bitcoins to buy a good computer.

According to your expectations if the price doesn't go high on halving you need to wait for a long time to buy your computer as with the gradual increases only by 2017 the price might touch $1500.

It will take a long way to reach to $1500, its never gonna easy, and worst part is we don't know how long it will take to reach there, or may be it will never reach there, can't say.

it like money or use it to pay someone or your orders in the internet with it. that's a big money so you need to keep some of it as fiat.

Why spend it? If you don't need anything just keep it. Spend when neccesary like when hungry, pizza always +1. If you worry about price fluctuations, exchange it for cash.

best way to spend bitcoin is trading with altcoin. and hopefully grow slowly. I don't think this is the right time to spend  or buy stuffs using my bitcoins as halving is near, I'm holding my coins till the halving and hopefully get ROI.

you can buy some giftcards with your bitcoin even with discounts! while exchanging to fiat will cost you a fortune I have to say. It's great for shopping and buying stuff from stores that accept bitcoin

I have a strong feeling that newbie must be spending their maximum coins on gambling as they want to multiply their coins in a quick way and that is a major problem with a newbie.

Gift cards are good, but I think in far places, using gift cards on online stores are not practical, the shipping fee will sometimes higher than the gift cards value...

I think you should keep your bitcoin and wait the halving,  its coming 3-4 months from now so the value would go higher.
You can spend it also on online store that accepts bitcoin as payment to buy gadgets, foods and etc.
If I could just have enough bitcoins, I like to buy an iphone or macbook.

Text is right, just keep your bitcoins and wait for the halving. So that you will get profit from it and after that you can now spend your bitcoin in anyway that you want.

Just spend bitcoin like regular cash.  Although it isn't currently as widely accepted as fiat, I tend to discover new businesses that accept bitcoin every week.

Well gambling is not advisable, lose is more than win.
Yeah, you can wait for halving to maximize the profit.
But if you really want to spend it now, as soon as possible, you can trade it into your currency for you to able use it as fiat.
