You can buy some goods from online shops such as overstock.com, scan.co.uk and aria.co.uk. There are many others.
Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

Hi guys, I'm new here and I just started reading the forum. I see a lot of advise like "invest Bitcoin", buy mining equipment etc. But I don't see anyone talk about daily life products. Food, computers, bills, Christmas shopping. The other day I was paid 4000 usd in btc and now don't know how to spend it wisely. But I ordered a pizza today and it tasted good.

Hey man!
First of all I would like to say welcome! Smiley
Secondly congratz to your nice amount of BTC.

Here is a nice site where you can check and look for several companies and merchants which accept Bitcoin.
http://spendbitcoins.com/places/

Hope this helps a bit.

PS: Don't spend all of cour BTC.Try to hold a bit.It might continue to increase it's value and you will be able to buy more or better products, goods and services with it. Wink

I advice you to hold your coins till the next halving at least, you could this way making good profit, because we expect that the Bitcoin's price will increase after this date. Use fiat to buy food and pay bills and so on, and hold your coins.

I think Better than this first he has to learn all about bitcoins and its level everything. after He can do mining work Mining is not a simple work. Due to electricity Its heavy work as a newbie. Better learn Invest in trading or mining upto your choice dude.

Hi, dear you are really a business man, better hold your Bitcoins instead of spending it for any foods now, because its really the price of Bitcoins is rising high like before. So I suggest you to hold your bitcoins money to make it grow bigger amounts. You have invested 4000 USD in btc, I am sure it will make double soon. Hope for the good and don't spend it now for any pizza. Buy your pizza when you get good returns. Which will taste awsome.

If you are to spend your coins, then just buy some stuff online that you can do with your coins, including this forum...
There are many websites where you can use your coins and get many things very cheaper compared to what you will be paying in fiat for the same...

Interesting thread.

My first reaction is that a guy who is prepared to accept $4,000 in Bitcoin (and has the ability  to accept them) must be aware of the Bitcoin market place. It seems that he doesn't really need anything, but just wants to unload his Bitcoin holding. The best way to do this must be to convert it into cash, rather than waste it on something he doesn't want.

There is some good logic posted in favour of keeping the coins, and that is what I would do based on the info available.

Yeah, ultimately the best course of attack is to hold your bitcoins.  There are multiple ways of doing this, whether getting a cold wallet (trezor), paper wallet, or possibly buying into some physical bitcoins where you can store your coins.  Physical bitcoins may pan out to be the best plan for storing your bitcoins, because they add in value as a collectors item that people are willing to pay a premium for (i.e. Casascius coins).

If you're looking to purchase things that are necessary for your everyday life, I'm not quite sure if there are ways to pay bills with Bitcoin directly.  Maybe you should look into getting a bitcoin debit card which allows you to pay anyone using a Visa which is "backed" by bitcoins and pays out the amount of fiat upon purchase.  So any place that accepts Visa (I would imagine everyone that you deal with currently) can be able to take that form of payment, and the Debit card company takes out the exact amount of bitcoins from your stash and pays out to the company in fiat.

Also, just curious... what did you do exactly to earn you $4,000 in bitcoin? Seems like a pretty tough thing to do, and I wouldn't imagine you did business with someone here on the forum. Huh

Not sure if this answers your question but I spend my bitcoins by investing them on btcjam and loanbase. I haven't bought anything yet, but will probably purchase a vpn when I earn enough bitcoin to make the purchase. As well as maybe renew my hosting and my domain.

Do not spend it, save it.  unless you are using what you make to live, there is no reason for you to spend it at this point.  Save it and wait for the BTC to go up.  When it goes up, you will be glad you did this.  I know I will be.
