What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

Please excuse me, I just don't exactly get what do you mean by banning. I don't see any reason that bitcoin will be banned, because the word "Banned"
it means you did something offense in the rules that they have. But how can that be happen, bitcoin is decentralized at all aside from that bitcoin also is open to any people who are good and bad that can be use for legal and illegal matter.

Banned bitcoins means that there is a law probihited of using bitcoin. You can google about cointries that banned bitcoin. I know that a bad news for bitcoin users and I hope it wont happen in my country.

The community will react of course and all of us will be angry but when governments ban it then we have nothing to do, bitcoin will be used in illegal ways in closed forums or underground.

Not to have any privileges because Bitcoin is used by rich people, but nobody could ever ban Bitcoins. Even if the government prohibits you to use it, you can still use it because the Internet is always accessible and you can always hide your identity. It's really funny how some people think that the government can control or even ban BTC in their country when everything can be hidden on the Internet and Bitcoin is decentralized too.

to me first it is not so easy to bane bitcoin because bitcoin is not became a universal cryoto currency and almost all other the world is using by the people, and in case it become banned then people will find so many other ways of using it.

yes even though you can see the countries that prohibit for use bitcoin but the people who live there keep using bitcoin, i think the ban will be difficult to be realized because bitcoin it was anonymous.

Bitcoin can never be banned, or heavily regulated out, because it has so much more uses than just a currency. I think this is a good read if you want to know what I'm talking about in depth: http://zanture.com/bitcoininsight/understanding-the-role-of-bitcoin-in-society/

But to summarize, bitcoin is an asset like gold, fiat currency, and an antique all tied into one. It is one of the greatest inventions of the 21st century.

Governments banning Bitcoin for their citizens isn't that much of a big deal. If they come up with a ban, then it will be for the companies in their country. That's how they can slow down the growth of Bitcoin.

Dark markets would still use bitcoin and other currencies,  so none of them would die off.  The price might take a beating though. Can't kill a good idea, so this isn't something I seriously worry about.

If the original Backside walkaround can prove to me they are the old owner of this account, I can update the email address to the email address of their choosing.
Backside walkaround has lost access to their account as they used someone else's email address to sign up, and the owner of the email address got tired of random email notifications from this site after a few months and reset the password.

There already are bans applicable in some countries when we talk about bitcoins, so it doesn't matter whether banned or not, but there are hell lots of ways like VPN, VPS, proxies, Tor, etc. to remain anonymous and play with this giant anytime we want...

I think many people would react when bitcoin is become illegal but i think government will never ban bitcoins for the people who wants to use it because bitcoin has many benefits and it helps alot of people to earn a little profit.

The bitcoin community will decrease and a lot of people will run away from bitcoin.

Maybe bitcoin will become a more underground currency and only darknet users will use it,i guess.

And the price will go down, off course...
I do not understand a lot of people always say that the risk will be greater when you're gambling than investing in bitcoin, because the house will always win, but I always investing in the house and in fact in 5 trials within 1 week, I always are seen losses when investing in a gambling site?

Since the begining bitcoin isnt well see for any countrie because the decentralization around it, and the thing about no one has plenty control over scares the countries, that controls their currencie and marketplaces. They cant do nothing about bitcoin, people will still use it, isnt the first time they tryed to make bitcoin die, silk road were the first issue they took down, its funny they forget about the silk road using fiat, but crypto cant just fiat, open your eye people they see bitcoin as a threat but they will work with crypto world even if they prohibit.

I think even now it has happened, there are some states that prohibit bitcoin circulating in their countries? I thought nothing could be done to make bitcoin legalized because it is the authority of the government itself, but I think it is not a problem, because bitcoin can not be controlled by anyone

If bitcoin was banned, it will be a big history that happened on crypto coins. I'm sure it will give a big affect to other cryptocoins, the price of other coins will be increase.
