What would happen if BTC was Banned?

It could   possibly  be  banned   by  government  on their country  by using  of bitcoin  but   it cant  really stop people  on  using  it  because there are  lots  of ways   that you could able to use  it  without  the notice of the  government that's  why  its still useless to ban  bitcoin though ,  I don't  see   anything    for bitcoin to be banned in any way.
Mayber theres some   conflicts regarding  on its anonymity  but   it depends  on  people  on  how   he use it.

But the question is Why Government banned the Bitcoin?
You know Government work to help the peoples of their countries, and it is duty of the government to give the jobs for jobless peoples and create a source of income for their peoples. And as i think Bitcoin is already source of helping the earn money, So don't use the word banned for government. Because i am not agree with this point of view. Also in future, may be more other crypto currencies like bitcoin would be introduce for us, and in this way, the way will be continue.

Don't say that Bitcoin would be banned because it being a reason heart attack to me. Because now i know very well about bitcoin and also i have investment-ed on it near about my assets of 30% than if i hear that bitcoin has been banned than believe me i have a big lose, So i really don't want to think that bitcoin would be banned in future or now.
Secondly, about the OP, i also do my work with bitcoin if bitcoin live or not. But i believe the day will never come, because when bitcoin came in that time many government accept it with a open heart.

Not only to your, I guess for the majority of people here. Bitcoin has been very helpful to us to do our wants online and with bitcoin we have form a great community of intelligent people where with bitcoin we have unity here. The fact that we can trade with bitcoin we will lose our money generating venture.

yes that is a fact that most of the people are getting benefit from bitcoin and to me first it is not so easy to banned bitcoin and the second is that if still it become  banned people will find way to use it even after banned.

Most likely it will not happen but it still can happen a lot of governments do not like it all because they think its bad for their economy in their country.
There are due to that still chances that it will be banned but lets hope it will not happen!

Those who are in fear of getting arrested well quit and those who want to use will continue the use. I will continue the use of bitcoin because it allows me to earn free money from internet by doing small small tasks and. Government can't give me free money so why should they ban it.

Not all government well ban it. Some government had seen positive energy to bring economical change but duke government had seen the destructive force in bitcoin because it is against some of the police set by government. Also there is no rules and regulations and no central agency to control the flow of the money

It doesn't seem that all government will form an union to ban bitcoin but some will ban and  some will allow its use. But if government of our nation bitcoin then also i had to continue bitcoin because it has more profitable then paper money. And also there is no taxes applicable which make it even better

I think it might decrease the price of bitcoin. Admit it or not, there are still bitcoin users that doubts bitcoin. There are also users that can easily be scare by their government. A simple warning will make them abandon all their bitcoins. They simply don't want to jail but it's actually pretty easy to avoid getting caught using bitcoin. Just hide your IP address and do not upload documents about your personal info and you'll be fine.

That's right, the personal info is the most things to consider by government, this is why not all country open to bitcoin since the status is pseudonym, decentralized which they can't control it.
If btc was banned the only problem is activity to use bitcoin itself, people too afraid and always need to be careful doing some bitcoin activity. And also it's hard to be worldwide, like you mentioned there are still people who don't know.

there is no benefit for most government to ban bitcoin , so it's feel like wasting time for them. wouldn't happened in the near future and i wish this would never ever happened. if then government looking for tax abuser be my guess track them , they might need thousands year to find all of them lol.

if bitcoin is banned completely then there might be heavy losses because there are many user across the world that had invested millions and billions of money being bitcoin and I think people will not give up bitcoin easily because it have opportunities to earn money for free and it had freedom and there is no barriers like government issued paper currencies

Nothing would happen if bitcoin is banned because those who want to use will continue the use and those who fear of getting arrested will leave bitcoin network so it really doesn't matter for a bitcoin fan like me. Just there will be fear and less freedom in using it

Because it has not pass the standard to be qualified as a legal currency or a legal tender. That is the only problem and you know what? I still like the original concept of bitcoin and I do not want to change that fact, it's good to be free and out from the corrupt world.

I guess bitcoin network will get destroyed and all bitcoin user will switch to another solution. Probably there are more than 740 coins and out of them may be 10 coins are in larger market capitalization so the old bitcoin user might use those coins
