I like the best of both worlds. Bitcoin, I can sell something here and pay like "newegg" for a product. I can pay newegg with paypal too! But right now, that I know of, is very hard or impossible to transfer Bitcoin to Paypal. Which is the situation I am currently in, I need paypal cash by selling an item I have and an item I want to buy is sold only by paypal and cc's. I've got an item for sale in another forum, someone suggested here in this thread that you may accept paypal payment by a reputable member here. Very good idea, I might do this. I think bitcoin is getting adopted but man, bitcoin is in a corner. For instance, if I were to sell something here for bitcoin, how do I get btc to paypal? Or how do I spend it on a manufacturer that does not accept bitcoin, like Motorola http://www.motorola.com/us/products . I like best of both worlds.

Bitcoin is the future, paypal is the past But since both are being used globally i prefer to use both payment systems. Their advantages give me an oppertunity for risk free trading.

I use both bitcoin and paypal. I have to since most webshops don't accept bitcoin. Using paypal as a consumer is actually very good.
Buyer protection, no fees etc. I do understand however that some big merchants can safe millions just by using bitcoin.
It seems a wise decision. I used both too since some online shop not yet ready accepting bitcoin. The only thing makes bitcoin better than paypal are bitcoin easy to use, no needed provide our ID to spend money online almost pure anonymous. It is no secret to Bitcoin users that digital currency makes PayPal’s model of online transaction look somewhat archaic by comparison. While the method was the darling of the online community in years gone by, the rapid advance of Bitcoin in particular has caused PayPal to come increasingly under the spotlight recently

I find both systems easy to use, so in that regard i prefer both.
However, when it comes to fees, bitcoin is the clear winner. So for me bitcoin is the winner.

I understand people here like bitcoin more. But i've become really addicted to paypal. A lot of shops accepts it. Sure bitcoin offers features like anonimity and lower fees, but those fees only apply for merchants...

I agree those fees are not for buyers, and buyer protection is good, but don't you care about privacy too? You know paypal needs a lot of information from you, they also have monthy limits. Which is weird, because it is your money...

Bitcoin wins from every payment method. And I mean all of them fiat, paypal, WU, Skrill.
Really, it's no competition when you compare the costs.

It sure is better then paypal. Even in regards to my bank account bitcoin is my favourite.
The reason i don't like those options is because of the fact that banks limit me in using my own funds. Which is terrible.

Bitcoin is mostly worse than paypal because you cant chargeback if someone does not deliver something to you. I have used paypal and that have worked well. Bitcoins need some services so you dont get scammed. Bitcoins is better when you send to trusted ppl.

You completely forget the escrow services. When you're using bitcoin always ask for escrow. It is always safe regardless of you are buying or selling. There is a initial proposal is going on for the decentralized escrow services. Once it get launched, then all people will agree bitcoin is far better than paypal.

yah escrow services is very important. we even have signature to sign our address to make sure that the wallet we use really belong to us and not some 3rd parties scam. so i think it is general safer to trade with bitcoin. maybe paypal is gd for buyer as it is buyer protection but the fee is still turning me off.

there is escrow, if the goods do not arrive, the escrow will not release the funds, and you can have your funds back so it's still better than paypal

When you use paypal to purchase something, use CC>Paypal, that way if pp fails to return funds, the ccc can revoke the payment from pp ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) so thats what I've read.

I've been scammed twice, well one I cannot prove if it was intentionally done to the items I sent off to keep, send back, or w/e the case was, it's in my post history. The other was over 2 btc when price was like 200USD, some stock shares. I feel for the victims, like if it hasn't happened to you yet, how do you know how it feels? It sucks, but you let go of it. It's a pity.
