As long as you have Bitcoin exchange in your country, BTC is better, Paypal has lost the initial savour that makes it darling of people doing online transactions, now what BTC offers Paypal can not match it in any way.
People who is does not know about bitcoin will think that paypal is best transaction mode globally. But if we compare with bitcoins, we see that bitcoin is far better than paypal. Simple fees and fast than paypal. Then paypal involves in many email scams. I would choose bitcoin always. I agree with you, we knows that bitcoin is better than paypal for the people know about bitcoin maybe someday the people will know about bitcoin in the world It's pointless to say that Bitcoin or PayPal is better than the other without mentioning the situation where you prefer one over the other. In certain circumstances PayPal does a very good job at satisfying their users, and in other circumstances Bitcoin will turn out to be the better option. Important feature for people that PayPal offers is the ability to initiate a charge back. I am sure when you don't get what you paid for, that you are more than happy that you can get your money back. It gives people confidence -- don't underestimate the importance of that. Currently one of the reasons the average people don't make use of Bitcoin is the lack of confidence. |

there are many complaint regarding the service of paypal nowadays so people preferred to use bitcoin.
There might be thousands of complaints that are being sent to paypal and reviewed everyday. But they are taking very fast and serious actions into it and that is making them lose customers. Even they will resolve the complaints properly there are customers that cannot be pleased and when they experience a problem into it already, they will not continue using it. Also it is too hard to use paypal and not practically. using bitcoin transaction very easy, quick and there are no strict rules. an important point to make bitcoin better than paypal is our money will not be lost (our money will be lost if our paypal account is blocked). |

It is never ending discussion and this thread will probably go on forever like that. What people fail to realize is that Bitcoin and PayPal serve slightly different purpose.
Both can complement each other: if you need consumer protection and are more into official means of payment - then you use PayPal. For everyone else bitcoin is far more interesting choice.
Don't argue which system is better, just use the one you like the most.
Yes, Instead of getting in the debate of which is better why not merge the both systems. If paypal could support bitcoin payments also, it will be great for paypal itself and bitcoin also. The world which we live in there is no isolation and if one does not support the other currency, eventually its loss for us customers. So i think both paypal and bitcoins are good for everyone. |

I have been told that don't accept payments via paypal, is that right?
Because when buyer will have his bitcoins then he can claim back money from paypal by saying that i haven't received desired product.
If that is true, then don't waste your time on PayPal. And even if that won't happen I always choose bitcoin. Bitcoin is better than any cryptocurrency made because it only has the huge price between all of them. It is also the future of our economy as long as the bitcoin is accepted in your country. |

Better to use Paypal for online shopping since it's widely accepted and it's the most popular. I would still prefer Bitcoin for funds transfer because of the small to no fee and the transactions are faster.

I still prefer Paypal over Bitcoin wallet when it comes to utility. Since paypal is still a famous worldwide for a way of buying/selling goods, I cashout or buying anything I want at any site supporting paypal with ease. If Paypal would embrace the use of Bitcoins by having their own bitcoin address inside my account and have the feature "convert bitcoins to dollars or peso(Philippine Peso), vice versa" I would like to stick with paypal more. It's just a 2 in 1 package for me so I can accumulate all my earnings into one place instead of using two different storage for my earnings.

Bitcoin and Paypal are both nice in there own ways but I would 110% rather use Bitcoin if I could in all situations online, that is if I trust the person I'm trading with too. The biggest thing that Paypal has on the online marketplace is that its rather easy to setup and tons of online marketplaces / seller use it.
People use Paypal also when they use sites that they've never really heard of and they're able to just feel the peace of mind of having a refund if needed later on. Bitcoin has to be accepted mainstream before people really start using it in their day to day lives.

It is true that PayPal is still preferred by many people than bitcoin when it comes to overall transactions and payment method and PayPal is used by many famous online services and shops, but PayPal was never famous as the bitcoin when it first started it took it some time to become what it is right now so we just have to give bitcoin some time too. |

For the currency conversion i will chose paypal. it has no fee its secure also it no apply any fee while sending money to family or any friend

Bitcoin is better then paypal. In my country paypal or bitcoin no one is supported. Paypal wallet does not support here. But bitcoin wallet are useable here. I can easily open a bitcoin wallet without any verification. i can use bitcoin for various purposes. I can easily buy sell bitcoin to my friends and can buy VPS/VPN etc easily. So why i like Bitcoin most instead of paypal.
Bitcoin is better than PayPal in terms of an advancing in banking system. PayPal is better in terms of user acceptance which is much higher compared to bitcoin. |
