When to hit $10,000?

I dont think it will reach that much. If that happens then Bitcoin is really popular. I am for sure that will never happen.
The value now is very low and it dont rise that much. It happens very slowly. And that is not so good.

It will never hit the amount of 10k its a bit to much, some people are just asking to much from the bitcoin.
The bitcoin can reach a high amount for sure but this is to much for the bitcoin it would take 30 years if the bitcoin than still exists.

Yes, nothing wrong with the positivity but $10000 is too much. There will be altcoins that will be utilized if the price of bitcoin becomes very high.

What is "very high" and which use cases would this apply to?

For example - I want to purchase something online costing $500. I purchase $500's worth of BTC, and send the BTC to the vendor.

Another example - I wish to transfer CHF 2000 from Zurich to Singapore. I purchase CHF 2000's worth of BTC, and send it to the Bitcoin address given to me by my Singaporean bank.

Neither of these two examples seem to rely on BTC being "low" or "high" (they don't seem to be dependent on the BTC/USD or BTC/CHF rate at all). So what is "very high", and when does it become an issue?

2020, can't reach so much earlier, even afer halving  it may reach up to 1000$, not more, not matter what

It will never happen. I think it wont happen, it impossible. The value now on this time is very low, so it must rise fast.
Maybe in year 3000 it is possible. But I dont think it will happen. But we all hope that it will be more worth in the future.

10 years from now, it is possible for the bitcoin price to hit $10,000. It has to be very optimistic for it to be earlier than that.

In my opinion it will take a lot of time till it will can hit this number, I think it will not happen its to unrealistic.
Maybe its possible but than it will be sure in about 10 years from now not earlier, because the price is now low if you calculate it.

I think 2017.
The last two years have been pretty depressing. That's probably why most people here are rather pessimistic. But with the upcoming halvening and the blocksize issue hopefully being resolved soon things might change.

I think the price could be $1000-$2000 in 2017. Even if the price rises above $10,000 then, it will drop very hard.

I dont think its gonna happen for a decade but still cant predict about bitcoin since bitcoin has always strived and improved its value even in worst crisis i hope it happens soon

It might take longer than that, 2020 is just 4 years from now and I think there are still scenarios that might dip the price lower and would take time to recover, it might not go low at $400 but might be hard to get to $10,000

I guess It will take 3 halving for sure. That much demand and supply we can get that much price for bitcoin.
In this having approximately we can 1000$ But I am not this is also the steady rate after halving, it's little doubt only.

Well, with Bitcoin, everything is possible but i highly doubt that will happen in next few years. My best guess for that price is somewhere between 2020 and 2024 but as i said, Bitcoin could surprise us all.

I do not see this happen at all the price will go to a high amount but this is just to high for the bitcoin itself.
We are just thinking too much the price will never go to the 10k if you look at the future right now.

I strongly believe in btc that it wont be no missing value but i guess it wont reach that high as $10k in 2020. If the price could surpass the highest price and double it then i think theres a possibility but it wont happen in 2020 i guess.

It will hit the 10000 dollars but its the question if this will happen in the coming years, in my opinion this will take years.
Maybe it will even take 10 years before its even possible, maybe its possible in 2020 when there is going to be another halving.

That will not happen fast. I dont think that will even happen. The value is now rising very slowly and that is very bad.
But I hope that it will rise for a long time so we have a lot of profit in the future. But you never know what can happen later, maybe there will be a jump or something.
