or it will never happen, bitcoin price won't hit $10000 ever, who knows. there is not a 'never' option in the poll so people can't choose it. no one expect it here but to be fair it probably happens. |

or it will never happen, bitcoin price won't hit $10000 ever, who knows. there is not a 'never' option in the poll so people can't choose it. no one expect it here but to be fair it probably happens. One can't say that it won't hit $10k ever, as the future of bitcoin is unpredictable anything can happen in future, if more users join this forum this can be achieved but what, it take some long days. |

Bitcoin will never reach this value. It's just not going to happen. The potential is big but there is a cap, even when you are dreaming.
Without billions of liquidity from very wealthy investors it will indeed not happen. But if they do enter the market, then it's definitely possible to see these prices in the far future. We can only wait to figure out what will happen in the coming years. Even $5000 as ultimate high will also be more than fine for most people here. I agree with you as you can see now the value than you can be for sure that it will never reach the $10.000 and that is because the price is now not even rising. And some people are hoping that it will reach that value and that is so stupid because they are not even realistic and than they will be mad if the price is low. |

I too think as you. Even with this price most of the users were comfortable. So when years pass the price might go high but when it reaches a very big value automatically governments will create issues on taxation and other charges. |

I too think as you. Even with this price most of the users were comfortable. So when years pass the price might go high but when it reaches a very big value automatically governments will create issues on taxation and other charges. And bitcoin volumes increases time by time even with such increase difficulty so better be realistic when doing some desired target of a bitcoin price. Even all merchants will accept bitcoin it can't increase the price like that. |

i am doubtful about reaching $10,000 for price even in a long time so my only vote is for the forth option. because i believe this year the price will rise but it will only rise to $1000-$1500 this year and come back, then after that there is a possibility for another rise to above that.

I honestly think the 10k will not be reached anytime soon it will take a lot more years to do this, I even think it will take more than 10 years to even get on the point it will maybe be possible.
I honestly really doubt if it every is gonna make it to be honest.

Even to touch 1000$ price its hard for bitcoin as looking at the price manipulation going on. So i dont think price will ever touch 10000$. So oon my opinion price will never reach that level.
In order to see Bitcoin reach the level of $10,000 it must be tradable on an exchange such as NASDAQ, NYSE, etc. Otherwise forget about it. Without these exchanges, professional investors will not come on board with hundreds of millions of fresh money. Yes for reaching that much amount bitcoin need that exchanges, with that the big whales will have get their face to it and will invest their big piles of wealth in bitcoin, then there is a chance that bitcoin get that value. |

I chose longer than this. theres no way we are hitting 10k this year or within the next 5. Further adoption from here i predict will be slow with a slow rise in price. if we are at 500 dollars by teh end of this year i will be impressed.

I won't be disappointed after all, i do not expecting to get close to 1000$ in the next few years.
$1k seems to be possible at the end of the year, but if we are waiting that bitcoin will reach to $10k someday then we are really wasting our time as that is not possible ever. |

Bitcoin is designed so that its price will always grow (with bubbles and busts of course), so it will reach $10k eventually. You can argue that something can stop it (altcoins, goverments etc.), but I think the chances for that are <50% (see history so far).
Does it really matter when it'll reach $10,000? If you wait for the sign that $10k is near (so that you can buy BTC and not wait too long), you are lost.

Gold is different and is around for a few K years, so in that aspect I can't really see it as good comparison. That's why I can agree with some people that say that $10,000 is looking beyond insane at this point. We only don't know how things look after 10-20 years. Chances are low, but definitely not impossible. |

It will not reach the $10,000 soon because the value is not rising now around this time and that is because the value keeps a long time stable and many people are not happy with it.
Maybe it will reach that value around some 10 years or something and you need of course some patience for it.
