All you self-righteous assholes can suck a bag of dicks. Its real easy to sit on the sidelines and criticize others, but what have you done to help this community? I have been here since 2011, and I sure as fuck have paid for my attempts to point out corruption around here (even when staff are involved), but none of you self-righteous slits were there then backing me up were you? I don't owe you or this community anything, so you can just get in line with the rest to go fuck yourself with your judgements and condemnations. Maybe next time I will just keep it to myself and you idiots can scour the net for his details yourself.
(P.S. Hey geniuses, releasing some ones DOX means you end any leverage you have over a scammer. I am giving him an opportunity to make this right and return the coins before doxing him, but keep judging people morally, it will take you places.)
point taken, but i only said i didnt condone it, nothing more, nothing less. thats just my opinion. I don't normally condone it either, but I am a firm believer in common law justice. Once you break the laws of society you have no more rights by the community than an animal does. IMO this is the only way to remind those that would harm others how near they are to being harmed themselves, and that they are protected only by that paper thin concept of civil society, and thus need to learn to protect it rather than exploit it lest it be revoked and they live as outcasts, open game for anyone to freely abuse. A true American! Trump would be proud of you! It gives such a positive image of the community. I really feel at home! And yet people wonder why btc is not on the late adoption part? Well maybe the community is a bit responsible no? No law, no trust... And when something goes wrong you all go on a rampage, digging up personal data for... For what? Finding him IRL and beat him up? Yeah sure! i feel so safe with all of you guys <3

Your account has been hacked? The password hasn't changed so why dont you log back in and sort this shit out with your master-p account? Calling this yet more BS . I can't log in to my account so clearly the password has been changed at some point while I was gone.Just wow. This community is so bent on throwing me under the bus without giving it a chance at getting it fixed. If nobody is willing to help then consider your coins lost because I don't know any other way to help fix this. The only thing I can do is go back home in about a week, boot up my PC, and hopefully be able to change the passwords on my wallets before the hacker is able to export or send the coins out. If anyone has any better ideas then please let me know. If not then I guess I am on my own and will have to wish for the best. And even in such a dire situation, still so many sig spammers trying to bump up their post count in here.. It's a fucking shame. This 360 seconds posting restriction sucks. I'll come back tomorrow morning, going to sleep now. If your password has been changed recently it would tell us in red text on your profile page. EDIT: At the moment this looks like an exit scam using the master-p account and several other linked alt accounts. As the plot thickens and more information comes to light it looks like its been done by the original master-p. Also if you've seriously only just found this thread and commented how can you even consider going to sleep? This shit is serious and unless you want to be doxxed I'd recommend sorting this mess out asap and return the missing funds. Somebody should get Gleb on this thread and get this case straightened out. He is good at this exposing the real imposters. He outed someone in a giveaway with nothing more then a name and a link. He is like the forum Batman.

Well the real Master-p has the fault of selling his account because it had the potential to scam a lot of forum members.
However I still hope that this can be somehow sorted out through the thread of the dox.

He's like a dog with a bone when he gets on a case. Hopefully he's working on it already.

For the record if this does turn out to be a case of stolen / hacked identity and is proven beyond doubt then I will obviously apologise and remove my comments suggesting this was a scam by master-p.
I still have a small hope that people will get their coins returned but there have already been so many twists in this drama I'm not sure what to think anymore....
I think the most likely scenarios are (in order of possibility):
1). Original master-p exit scam. 2). master-p sold the account and its an exit scam from the new owner. 3). The account was hacked. 4). This has all been a bad dream and I'll wake up soon....

Definitely 1. Who wouldnt change their password after buying an account? Also, why would he trust a random, anonymous guy with 1 BTC in after-sale payment? Lol, the 4th option. Seems legit

I've been watching this car crash develop with morbid interest (and popcorn). I know Caveat Emptor and blahblah is the watchword of this forum, but it would be nice if Theymos and his inner circle would realize the threat to the basic credibility of the system by which BCT trading operates and swing into action in any way that they can, and share with us all some basic facts about the various master-p accounts from their analysis and data. Like it or not, the ad hoc escrow system here is broken, despite the protestations of OgNasty and others who, although well intentioned, are defending the indefensible. There is no way, with account and key sales common and 'acceptable', that a long con escrow scam can ever be discounted. What to replace it with? Something along these lines deserves further thought Is there any kind of service offering automated 2-of-3 multisig? That seems like the obvious way forward here. The company wanting to pay for forum signatures creates a campaign on the site, the forum users each sign up for that campaign. Everyone provides an address. The site makes a 2-of-3 address for each campaign participant, holds funds in escrow, but can't steal them.

Is there a need to look at the negative feedback that he sent to other's when is still in DT and account is still with right owner? Since he will be removed from DT red flags will turn to neutral again right?

Why in hell would a hacker bother getting you wallet password when he can just give out his own addresses? This is where I sent my 3 btc --> https://blockchain.info/address/15xBZU7EeYsddMhK9SzB7zEAnnrFfYJbCcso it's a fresh, unused address, not one of Master-P "notorious" escrow addresses or such. It just doesn't make sense.

it was not a hack and his account wasn't stolen, otherwise we would see a password change in the last few days, weeks? And the last password change is 6 months ago when people say he sold his account. So he either sold his account, which makes him a scammer or he is the one scamming directly which makes him a scammer.

It was a pre-planned scam (directed by an impersonator from August 2015 or the real man himself)

18 pages in less than 48 hours, amazing . I didn't read all the post(s) but did Master-P signed something with his pgp private key or a well know btc address during the deal ?

Man you think others were dumb enough to deal with "master-P" without his PGP signed message ? If the man wouldn't give his PGP signature he wouldn't be able to scam half of the forum members.

Not sure how far this is feasible. But I got an idea.
How about us all contacting all the mining pools and ask them not to confirm the transactions that spend coins from the escrow addresses unless the coins are sent to the real owners.
For example, we ask them to confirm the transaction which spends the coins from 18PJHZTTPvcWrpBMnFStgyuphpvuwTgT3k to 1QF1Eo1mXv7M93FuntAHuiSGx2wkpxqJem. This is so because that address was given to me via master-P to me for escrow for a trade. Only such transaction will be confirmed.
This will at least temporarily force him to refund the money.
