Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Our BFL gear seems to be enjoying the cool evenings. This winter could be very interesting.

I'm following many securities months and I have to say that basicmining seems one of the most robust.

I'm in, don't let me down  Wink

Ty, welcome aboard Pompobit. My management style is a bit too conservative for some it seems, but I would hope my choices make sense over time. There are a whole lot of icebergs out there to navigate around.

Cheers.

I agree 100%.

This security has been great to own.  I really enjoy following creativex.  Great APR, sober management that gets every ounce out of the equipment he orders.  What is not to love?

No kidding that Avalon showed up pretty fast after customs!

Looks like the Avalon 4 module is hitting a higher hashrate than advertised already?

Time to gobble up some more shares.

And over 1100BTC to spend on BitFury/KNC/etc miners when available. Oh my! Maybe it's time to lower the amount invested into the daily growth fund. Tongue

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.

Indeed, DHL was really fast. Smiley

Looks like the Avalon 4 module is hitting a higher hashrate than advertised already?

The hashrate numbers displayed on the stats page should be taken with a grain of salt, but the rig has overclocked itself to 360Mhz right at this moment which is performance equaled only by our batch 1 unit. I'm collecting data points for a proper DiffA/Time performance evaluation.

Cheers.

I love that you are conservative Creative!

Too many people want more hashing power without understanding what goes into it, especially in a market where pre-orders are abundant and actual deliveries are rare (and create a spectacle).

If you are long on Bitcoin you will want measured results that count, and I have a feeling that is how you roll.

There is a lot of chatter on the boards but I'm glad you stay focused and only do what really needs to get done. 1-2 years from now there will be a few heavyweights in the game and I hope that you (and I, as a shareholder) are still one of them.

I hate to be a "me too"-er but I have to agree with Cashmere  - well said.
This is a fast changing niche and Creativex seems like the person to keep us well seated in it.

Take care

Awesome work Mr. C a resounding vote of confidence !  Cool

I'm in strong agreement with the others, keep up the conservative but strong expansion, this market is exploding it would be very easy and tempting to greedily buy buy buy without doing the sums first.

I assume you've seen this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=267552.0 Cointerra.

thats not a recommendation just highlighting how rapidly this market is exploding and giving yet more options.

Hi lunarboy, yeah I saw it. Another potential vendor generously offloading the risks associated with chip development to investors that think they're customers. You'd think the pre-order model would be played out by now.

Cheers.

Early results from our batch 3 Avalon. After 6h46m17s the #s are:

111269 Avg Mh/s(This is unreliable)
10073 HW Errors
24.7930 HW Errors/Minute
1.6734% HW Error Rate
Utility 45.81
DiffA 601937
DiffA/Minute = 1481.5695(shares/minute)

The rig is stock, I simply opened it up and connected the big Antec 1300w platinum, which of course has to be outside the case as it won't fit within. I've had it set for auto overclock and 90% fan speed nearly since I got it set up. The speed has slowly ramped from 325Mhz to 361Mhz and then reset back to 325 on at least two occasions that I've observed. This is different than the restarts the older units display in that it's not restarting cgminer. Overall I'd say the performance is solid. I suspect it could benefit from increased airflow, but probably won't speed up significantly. The shares/minute stat has been steadily rising so I wouldn't be surprised if we level off above 1500/min, which is very respectable.

Cheers.

Edit: After 19h35m16s:

111670 Avg Mh/s
31190 HW Errors
26.5387 HW Errors/Minute
1.7243% HW Error Rate
Utility 41.02
DiffA 1808884
DiffA/Minute = 1539.1264(shares/minute)

Major pool issues this morning. As a result I've switched all our BFL gear over to btcguild pps, which seems to be fine, until I can get it sorted.

Cheers.

Prices are still double the highest price treasury shares were sold at, would be a very poor use of funds while equipment has been attainable

The 24h Avg is more than 4x our highest IPO price. Let me crunch some numbers and determine if it makes any sense to buy shares back, and if so at what price point.

Not entirely sure what happened with our bfl mining equipment yesterday morning. The mining software switched from polmine to 50btc(1st failover) for some reason, but instead of mining it went into a wait state which does not activate the watchdog timer I have setup in case of a crash. I caught it fairly quickly, but we lost nearly an hour of mining revenue with the minirig and singles. Everything is back to normal and seems fine now.

Cheers.
