Speculations will create any impact on the outsiders, majority of users of bitcoin belongs to this forum, lets hope speculations goes in right way and we can see this price very soon.

Mass adoption won't determine all the instances. Now too much positive speculations were going on, and had lead to huge rise in price. So this time I think halving place the role than adoption.

I am optimistic that it will go up to US$800+ at the end of the year, if you have observe that bitcoin community, the demand of bitcoin was from the gambling industry, there are new gambling sites being established now because they believe that bitcoin will become more popular in the future. Let's just say it this way if the gamblers will need more supply to gamble then the price will probably increase.

People simply have way too high hopes for the price to go up a lot just because of the block halving this year.

Lol, the way you put it you make it seem we'll reach $800 next week. In reality it's not that easy. Even the $50 difference between $450 and $500 will take us quite some time to break it. And then we still have $600 which might not even be touched this year.
