Saw an ad on btcclicks for a 1337 staking pool, testing it out.
http://stakeit.online/

Seems neat so far, says daily payments, I'm going to deposit and post tomorrow if it pays.
Supposed to pay in Bitcoins.

Careful with that bro

What is stopping them from just running with your coins?

Any place can simply 'run with someones coins'. I'm choosing this place over juststake.online as over half of juststake.onlines website is just filler text: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Aenean commodo ligula eget dolor.

thanks for the info. i find it a bit strange that theres nothing on BCT about stakeit.online, no service announcement thread or anything. i would like to know who is operating it. site is offline now.

Still can't withdraw my coins from juststake.online  Sad

My test withdraw:
TXID                                    Coin Name  Amount    Date Created              Paid?    Status                           Address
PJenkinson_Manual_Process    1337 Coin     10.9    4/4/2016 9:31:38 AM   DONE    4/4/2016 9:31:43 AM    LY617e9uXpZFhutWvgGm4FW4DdLjkwu9x7

I remember dev said we will not lost our coins. So what will we do? I want to withdraw my coins and get my stakes on a local wallet.

send me a pm with the txID and some more info and i'll get you sorted.

i just made a small withdrawal and it was almost instant but one of my friends tried to withdraw a larger amount yesterday and it took a few hours so maybe you have to wait a bit longer. and yes, i agree that we could use some more exchanges. maybe its a good idea to compile a list of exchanges and services we want to get on since there is more activity in this thread and more people are getting involved with the project. hopefully they can help us by voting and maybe sending some emails etc.

i will post another update later today and answer the other questions.

I've just withdrawn from yobit and it worked  Shocked

I think it'd be good to try and get on coinwallet for another online wallet /staking service.
also coinexchange if its not already listed there, Bleutrade might be worth approaching but they just seem to add whatever they want.

scratch that coinwallet just announced they're closing

I tried to withdrawl some coins i sent to juststake.oniline also, and i got the same thing.  says Paid as DONE, but TXID "pending".

i'm getting a fishy feeling about these online wallets like coinwallet.io and juststake.online.  time to accept these coins are most likely gone.

i had no problems with coinwallet.io

they had a great service up on till the problems.  while theirl 0.5% was pretty heafty many people dealt with it obviously because how popular they were.  but still charging people 0.5% withdrawl fee after the "hack" and the only way to contact them is support@coinwallet.io, but not 1 response since questioning about InfluxCoin staking problem.  now no response about no balance on my account after changing the pw as instructed.

i decided to used online staking wallet cause the orignal 1337 wallet was crashing on me...now 1.3 works but can't get my coins from juststake.online anymore. and ofcourse the ~2BTC of coins on coinwallet.io is most likely gone too.

sorry to vent here, since 1337 wasn't even supported by coinwallet, still just wanted to warn fellow crypto gamers and share my story.

good luck guys.

Online wallets are a usefull thing.. But safety wise its best to keep your coins in your own wallet.. Always..
Or start your own online wallet, there are a few scripts on github you can run on a vps for private use..  Wink

just wanted to drop in and say i got my coins in coinwallet.co sorted out, it was my mistake forgetting the username.

but my 1337 still stuck on juststake.online "pending txid" for 3 days now.  i will have a bit more patience on this one, hope they will show up soon.

not that much 1337 compared to the coins on coinwallet.

Just want to ask re status of game usage of 1337 for minecraft... Are there other games coming soon using 1337?.. Thanx

yes, there are 2 games that are currently being worked on, one is a faucet/casino type of site where you can win bits (units of 100 satoshi) by playing various games and you will have the option to convert those into 1337 if you want too. the other game is a browser game where you can win 1337 by playing against other players and you can use 1337 to buy in-game items and upgrades. beta launch is planned for May1st.

As for the gameservers mentioned in the OP, i think it would be better to first see if there is an interest from the community in that. there are possibilities of teaming up with other gaming currencies to make this possible so maybe we can try that at first.

Stake2play should be ready for beta-launch by next weekend.

About the next halving, im open to suggestions from you guys and i have no intentions to implement that any time soon. i think its important that we look into doing more promotions for 1337. there are some people that at first might have been scared away from getting into 1337 because of the high POS %, the current rate of 668.5% might appeal some more to them. So more promoting, more services, more games, more exchanges... lots of things to do so i will need your help with this. maybe do some brainstorming with some of you guys?

Juststake.online's devs are active in the thread. I would suggest posting there to get their attention. i will post there too because my test amount is stuck too and not staking... heres the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1365392.new#new

I think once we have a game that will help with promoting the coin and getting more people, also looking into another exchange would help! Thanks for the update looking forward to May 1st
