At the start you limit your time and money spent but once addicted it will be unlimited until your bankrupt.
This "unlimited" is a symptom of gambling problems. Before going into unlimited, we need to realize our gambling addiction else no one will be there to help us. Gambling addictions are the worst problem of our lifetime because not just money and time we're going to lose, we will lose everything in our life including our relationships. I would definitely disagree with it, gambling addiction is a serious problem and no one will help you if you will not accept your problem and you will not seek help. Addiction like this needs immediate attention as the longer you bring it the more you will suffer from it, your family can help if you cannot afford to hire the service of the professionals but be honest.

Everyone takes responsibility about his decision at gamble and not at all. Its pretty complicated discussion. It;s not complicated as you think because we all have experience having a problem with gambling. Some have solve it early while some still fighting for the growing problem until now, in the end, we will realize that the only solution with our problem is stop gambling. It will not do good for us if we are already addicted as the control is necessary which we do not have.

Especially if you are losing a lot of money in gambling and not really getting back your deposit everytime. Stop gambling is a good solution but not really. In the end you'll just go back to it and lose more. Probably whats a good plan is to gamble less and do not gamble more than what you can't afford to lose.

You dont really need to overcome those gambling habit. All you need is to gamble less or dont at all when you have nothing to afford to lose, the key will always be what you can afford to lose, if you could afford to lose 1 million USD then just go ahead as you are risking alot you could get alot in return as well

The thing is how long a gambler will be afford to lose one million dollars. But they can lose all $1 million within one day itself too. But I do not think they will be having another $ 1 million for next day. So, one day are other gambling problem will start even for a rich gambler who is affording to lose millions in gambling.

I used to gamble for fun. With friends, everyone put a dollar on the table, it was fun. Then the next year I found Zynga poker in facebook. I was crushing the tables, but playing too high and therefore going broke every time.
After summer I discovered csgopoker, where I could play for money. I was playing in freerolls and under dollar tables. I was satisfied by small wins.
Then I realized how good I had actually become, and I upped the stakes. I ran up bankrolls up to 500$, but always ended up bust. I took small loans from my friends and grinded back a small bankroll responsibly, always paid back with interest.
Then I finally hit the heater of my life. I was playing well, running well, I ran 5$ up to 2500$. It felt like I was on the top of the world, playing 50$ table mostly, all the way up to 200$ table. Then I decided to cash out, which was the best decion I could have made.
After that, it's just all been one long downswing in poker. I win some freeroll, run up a bankroll and bust it again the next day. This cycle has been going on now for a year total. Playing 3-8 hours of poker a day and winning nothing.
So this year I decided to do it. Quit poker. I have come to realization that poker has ruined my life. It's taking way too much of my time and it's causing me to stress all the time. I'm still up around 3000USD from poker, but I don't think that its worth all the time that playing poker has taken from me. It has become an addiction, like I have to play, no matter what stakes or what game. I truly think gambling is a sickness.

It is a good thing that you have realized you spend too much time gaining nothing in poker games. Well probably some winnings but it would be way more if you use it to do a job . I wonder if you really stop playing which I hope so, If you do it easily then you are not addicted to the game. And just one more thing, gambling is not a sickness, gambling addiction is.

Gambling anyway is such an "useless" thing to do. It is addictive, and you can never win in the long run (in poker you can). I think my plan to quitting is quit slowly, im gonna play some of the best freerolls for a few weeks now, but cash out all my winnings to bitcoin. Best way to quit thing like poker imo is to reduce and reduce it until ou don't even notice it's gone. I'm only 18 right now, and come from a fairly wealthy family, and I haven't spent my poker winnings on anything yet, so I have plenty of money. But I am planning to get a job though, in the summer.

It's not that bad to gamble unless you are going to moderate it.
Almost everyone has a gambling problem, either they are addicted or not however alot of people keep on wanting to gamble when they have spare time or some money to spend . It is not bad of course however there is a risk in it that people might be addicted so dont even think that anyone could control their gambling habit You make it sound as if everyone that gamble has some kind of gambling problem and that is not true, we can gamble responsibly without becoming addicted, in fact most people that gamble are able to control themselves, those that are addicted to gambling are just a minority.

Everyone takes responsibility about his decision at gamble and not at all. Its pretty complicated discussion. Oh well you are right with it. And it depends to each individual on how they are going to take it seriously. There are people who are making gambling as a way to kill their boredom and there are ones who are making it for real living but whatever they are going to choose, problems will still come out in different circumstances.

At least I know what my purpose is, I cannot make gambling for a living and I have already accepted that a long time ago, I know my capacity and it seems like I am not making a profitable job if I continue fighting for it. Really hard to focus on money when gambling is really not for you, it's better to accept that it's only for fun so you can enjoy it.

And that problem would be losing money in the end. I don't think anybody wins in gambling but the house itself. There are more losers than winners you can count. This is why casinos are still standing and never ever close. They build bigger and bigger casinos and they are so extravagant because they have so much money. People just think they will win against the casino, but they will never ever win against it.

There are wise gamblers who manage to win in the long run with gambling and they know that losing will come to them. But what they are doing is every time they are going to have enough winnings, they are saving it and securing it already. So when the time of losing is going to come, they do have save it already.

There are gamblers who manage to gambler freely, because they have enough to gamble and it is not affecting their families with their habit or addiction. It just depends on the gambler on how he can take things very light and by setting priorities.

When I started gambling, it's a normal thing that I was addicted, but I was able to fight that addiction and now I am a more matured gambler as experience teaches me how to be. Enjoying is the key since gambling is an entertainment, if ever you have a problem then you must solve that early, otherwise you will suffer that longer and you will live a very stressful life.

I've lost over 10BTC in the past three months, and let me tell you. Stopping isn't as easy as you might think. I don't know why I keep doing it but I do. And the result is always the same. Net Profit: - 5.500BTC Sometimes I play Black Jack, sometimes I play Dice. Most of the time it's dice, and that's basically where I lose all my money. Nothing ever works. Martingale: Nope. Reverse Martingale: Nope. All in 80-90%: Nope. Spamming 97% win chance: Nope. I wish I could stop lol
As long as you play with -EV you will lose longtherm, this is clear. But how about playing poker or sports betting?

As long as you play with -EV you will lose longtherm, this is clear. But how about playing poker or sports betting? Your slot games history is so sad, and you don't have luck in slot games, so now try skill games use your all type of strategies and play these games maybe your luck will be change. If you don't know poker game try sports betting this is the only solution if you have in gambling to make a profit. This is also a risk but not like slot games. You will get a lot of options to bet, and winning percentage is high.

The house edge of sportsbetting is actually much higher than dice game or the others. Some people keep thinking that they have a chance win sportsbettimg while in fact it wont make any difference at all
