New version is out - 1.31 from April 4th
Someone checked if voltage can go below 0.9v with this one? I see they improved their voltage control tool.

Is it only for AMD GPUs?
If you mean ethOS, No. ethOS works well with Nvidia too.

You can do it yourself:
Updating Miners to Latest Versions
Update ethOS. Make sure your GPUs are not in a crashed state. It is best to proceed immediately after a reboot. Run: sudo update-miners && sudo service ethos-miner-monitor restart Search Google for your miner version to get configuration options that can be set in /home/ethos/*.stub.conf files You can check your current miner versions with cat /var/run/ethos/miner.versions
The following miners are currently available to update:
ccminer 2.2.5-tpruvot-et claymore 11.4 claymore-xmr 11.2 claymore-zcash 12.6 dstm-zcash 0.6.0.1 ethminer 0.14.0.dev2 optiminer-zcash 2.1.2 sgminer-gm 5.5.5-a NOTE: If you have many rigs, use the above as a guideline for your own distribution method. If any problem occurs and you would like to revert, run: ethos-update reupdate
so I have a 16 x 1060 rig and I want to change to raven from zec can someone show me a local conf file to mine raven? tia
I will poke around here and come back to this thread http://ethosdistro.com/still a fail for me. I have got it to go to ethos 1.3.1 I have it at ccminer 2.2.5-tpruvot-et ethos 6 my zcash works better with higher hash using dstm 6.01 but I still get a dead raven setup this globalminer ccminer ccminer=flags -a x16r stratumproxy enabled proxywallet RTThoGzWY2G9XryuNV2bgPW9SCspnFAdwj proxypool1 stratum.threeeyed.info:3333

Hey guys. I was wondering whether someone can explain to me about the custom panel name. I can't figure it out. How to set it up in a config file and what if someone else has or will take the same custom panel name? Thanks.

If you updated to 1.3.1, it should directly report wattage now.

You're wrong and it also depends on how heavy your VBios is modded. # KNOWN GOOD SAMPLE AMDGPU (RX 400/500) GLOBAL CONFIG # ------------------------------------------------------ # globalcore 1180 # globalmem 2000 # ------------------------------------------------------ # # NOTE: AS of ethOS 1.3.1, OPTIONAL "pwr"/"globalpowertune" adjusts AMDGPU watts, and OPTIONAL dpm adjusts AMDGPU dpm state. # Set lower for lower power usage, set higher if overclocking. Limiting power this way will negatively impact hashrate. # It is advised to use voltage adjustment to achieve low power draw while maintaining high hashrate. # Default DPM is 5 # "dpm"/"globaldpm" is DPM state range 0-7 (OPTIONAL). Yeah, I abandoned the globalpowertune setting for now. Still getting 4h/s increase per card and a decent voltage drop since the update just using my previous settings. Will play with them when I have time, but I'm happy enough with my rig at the moment.

Is there a miner in ethos 1.3.1 to mine CN Heavy?
If there isn't, please include it in the next update.
I've tried compile miners on my own and even try sgminer-gm 5.5.6 with no luck.

If any of the miners in their list have updates that support it, try sudo update-miners (or do your specific one). You can also install miners that aren't on their list. It CAN break ethos, fair warning, but it likely won't (still, I tend to do a full drive image backup before I install anything on active rigs).

Hello. I just updated my rig to 1.3.1 and clicking on the menu shortcuts for ethOS Stats Panel and ethOS Knowledgebase bring up a blank Chromium screen. After a little bit, an alert pops up that says the page is unresponsive, but that is blacked out as well. I see no other ways to open Chromium and this bug was not there before the update. Next steps?

If that was the only rig reporting and it was offline for a little bit, the system probably just changed your panel "name". Confirm the address by typing helpme into your rig.

Thanks for your quick response. The rig boots and hashes fine. The name is the same. The problem is that the Chromium browser window is all black and then a Page Unresponsive alert window pops up. I've rebooted the machine numerous times. Same problem. "helpme" works fine as well as the "browser" command, however the Chromium window is blank and unresponsive. I've read this thread and searched the internet and haven't seen any answers.

Or email them; the OS isn't technically supported but I've found the panel tends to be (I usually get a response within a day or so). You can also try testing it in the iOS/android app, or post it here and one of us can try it...
