To make a Zcash withdrawal from Poloniex, it is needed around $1000 (0.01 ZEC) of fee  Grin Grin Grin

They really should fix that. If I was Poloniex I would sell those fees right back, because the price is going to go way down.

Well 1ZEC is know equal to 1BTC and it will keep falling fast. The fee now makes sense Smiley

zcash looks scam to me. i havnt got my first day mining coin.

it also smell like a scam to me. the way the reward worth, is only instigating a big pump at the beginning and a big dump after, but there is a good thing about this coin, it let many miner form the other coin to mine it, this will decrease the overall difficulty and make all the other coin profitable again

I dont think the overall difficulty will be affected by this in a noticeable way.
The difficulty would have to drop a lot to make it profitable again  Roll Eyes

The problem with Zcash is not only the trusted setup, but also an undetected bug could lead to massinflation and printing of coins which could not be detected.
This problem occured with BTC on August 15 2010, where billions of BTC have been made, but it could be removed and repaired, in Zcash this would not be possible!

Also every new Zcash fork needs a new trusted setup.

Technically the XMR Ring CT, which will be activated in beginning of 2017 is delivering the same efficiency like we have on Zcash.
The Ring CT protocol allows hidden amounts, origins, and destinations for transactions which is similar to Zerocash. So basically XMR will offer the same efficiency but with no trust needed.

The problem is, the cryptocoin world is a constant revolving door of new money and ignorance coming into this particular space. Its like a compulsory initiation ceremony, that ones ignorance and greed has to take part in, to fully understand. Any attempts made to educate on here, are either met with suspicion, and/or, crowded out by over-excited pubescents with far too much testosterone, posting about their lambo dreams.

The coin is dead in the water already if you ask me. It'll be in a bearmarket for the next 4 years straight (maybe one or two random pumps if it isn't hacked or broken within weeks). It should drop another 99% from here.

Actually there isn't even a reason to pay attention to it. It's going to hit rock bottom in 2020 - only a fool buys before year 2020

On another note: the coin itself is utter nonsense because it's not trustless. It's actually garbage.

The coin is interesting for miners if they can make profit. For investors it's best to stay 5 miles away.

I will start buying when 1 ZEC is 0.001 BTC  Lips sealed

That's still too much.

Actual Zcash exchange rates across major online exchanges on Cryptonator https://www.cryptonator.com/rates/ZEC-BTC

Total 24h Volume: 39 ZEC lel

won't be long before the 24h volume of today is the blockreward of 8 minutes. rofl.

Well I really guess you don't need to be a genious to understand that a new coin with no usage could be quoted 3000 BTC (first trade) and like 30/20 BTC first 6 hours, without having at least the suspect that something fishy was happening!

Nobody can be proud of it. But perhaps it is no different. To open people's eyes. The mass media, do not do anything else! Earlier, the church was the word of truth until a man realized the earth is not a slice but round.

The sad, 1 BTC in ORB would bring a lot of movement. But rather, 1 BTc is invested in a falling stone! Stupid
This is not a sustainable economy

This is only an enrichment of a few, like in the Fiat's

It'd be fine if only it weren't a carbon copy of 42coin and didn't have an exponentially increasing block reward and didn't act like a cleverly created pump coin. It seems that the creators of these kinds of scams have started investing more and more into their overhyped, seemingly revolutionary coins that actually don't do much... it's not like zcash had some incredibly new feature in it that would decimate other coins. It's pretty much the complete opposite; if they had actually made this system with a block reward similar to bitcoin's, it might have gone somewhere, but it'll just continue plunging in price and support.

Yes, and not much has changed. Millions of apparently free-thinking individuals are about to give their blessing for a narcissistic, lying, tax dodging, abusive waste of space, to be their 'saviour', of the 'free world'. We have gone from Copernicus to Trump in 500 years, and still, those brain-washed homo sapiens have not worked out how to think for themselves.

You are a rebalancer? Like me? Eventually, people will realize that the earth is not flat, and Crypto is not equal crypto.
This is just a matter of time
