it still has good value but then due to it also is what makes it not good for new investors.  most of them prefer to invest to the new ones or the anon and untraceable coin that is being traded one exchange which has good volume like xmr.

I don't see why. Yes it had a trusted setup. The trust was required during setup and destruction of the source parts. Now the launch was done and was seen to be trustworthy no further trust is required. Now, because of that people can benefit from anonymity of transactions. What's the problem?

The problem is that you're having to trust people when they said they executed the Trusted Setup honestly. How do we know they did? Because they told us?  Human history says that we shouldn't trust that kind of answer or system.

Fortunately there is another coin where no trusted setup is required, is fully open source, is decentralized, private, fungible, and secure. The only thing needed to be trusted is math -- not people -- since the source code is open source.

Why are you looking at it on a per coin basis, instead of market cap? ZCash is valued at way below XMR on a marketcap basis. So saying it will become in line with XMR after a dump is meaningless.

We don't really know. This coin got it backwards... it started at a ridiculously high price, then the price is slowly diluting as more and more new coins enter the supply, and we are looking at a price that constantly shrinks, as the supply and marketcap grows.

If majority of transactions are conducted without privacy, then most users are actually not benefited from such technology, and the minority of private transactions automatically become suspicious.

Correct. This is why no "privacy" currency with optional privacy will ever be successful at preserving users' privacy. This is true of Zcash, Dash, and Shadowcash. The only coin to get this aspect right so far is Monero.

Absolutely.  A fundamental premise for anonymity is that everyone uses the same protocol, of course.  If you're the only one on the street with a bag on your head, your anonymity is worth zilch.  If you're the only one using a closed envelope, you stand out too.
