Thoughts on Zcash?

The team is solid and community nice. However it's not very well known and the media focus is on BTC/ETH these days. My prediction is a slow rise in popularity with a slight bump after ETH miners move to new coins. I see ZEC being sold around 350-400 USD by the end of the year. That's my perspective anyways. I wish there were more places that would support z-addresses. I also hope there will be more places where I can spent the coin directly, otherwise this will be just investing thing, which I'm not that interested in. Some life to the coin would be nice.

Maybe it is not mentioned to get ZEC well known because there are real anonymly transfers available. Some can't be tracked by transfers. I am although wondering why ZEC is still so low priced. Is blockchain maybe unsecure?

I think ZEC is the top 10 mineable coin. There are very good miner support of the coin.

It got listed on Bithumb, one of the largest Korean exchange. This may be the reason for bull run. There is also one more info on zcash which is about its masternode I'm not sure though. If it's implemented then we can reach moon again. BTW Zcash is a good crypto and it will definately rise in the future

Great pump was last days. More exchanges  - higher price! I hope they will release masternodes soon. I know ZenCASH plans to release them too.

Zcash has it's pros and cons. I think the most important advantage is total anonymity - the sender of the transaction, its recipient and its size are stored in an encrypted form and can be seen only by those who received a special key, while the system guarantees that there are no violations. Mining, unlike most crypto currency, is launched in the "slow start" mode, those in the first 34 days of the reward for each unit will gradually increase. But I don't like that the team may not have considered that in this form their development becomes an ideal tool for the implementation of clandestine transactions. The main advantage ZCash has is its implementation of zero knowledge SNAKRs.

And so far it as succeeded in doing so beyond other platform. So for now, considering the demand for privacy in blockchain and other cryptocurrencies, its a main contender to be a viable utility when say governments and central banks start to feel threaten by blockchain. Which is already happening in my opinion.

Zcash always have an surprise element. And one thing I observe that it ups and downs with the value of Ethereum . And its value is always very near to Eth . But last ccouple of week it was very low compared to Eth and corrected its value in only 2-3 days. And when it grows feom 0.058/btc to 0.07/btc in about 6 hour all predicted that it will fall soon but it grows up again in next day.

Zcash is a good coin and it has just been pumped recently. The technology inside zcash will be added to ethereum in the next few weeks so that ethereum will become even stronger and better. Thanks to zcash, we have the zksnark that give us the most powerful security ever

My thoughts about Zcash offers complete payment security, while still maintaining a decentralized network using a public blockchain. Rather than Bitcoin, Zcash transactions automatically hide the sender, recipient, and value of all transactions on the blockchain. Only those with the correct view key can see the contents. Users have complete control and can opt-in to provide others with their view key at their discretion.
