Max is in Moscow now.

Can't see you max, in which seat you are man or you are clicking this pic. Selfie could have been better pic than this.  Cheesy Grin

come on max. this is so boring. who wants to know where are you traveling to.

what we need are some real life use cases for lisk.

He's providing the updates the community were so adamant about. We can't really expect the growth of the platform without first growing the community and developer outreach. This is part of expanding awareness of Lisk, although it's not the only part, as we will need the community to spread awareness.

Here's a good article on IoT applications for blockchain technology, https://techcrunch.com/2016/06/28/decentralizing-iot-networks-through-blockchain/ . I've ordered a low cost 64 bit ARM board with 2 Gb RAM to build a weatherproof version of Bitseed for ruggedized outdoor and industrial applications.

Near the end, reference is made to shortcomings of blockchain technology requiring a lot of processing, and suggests sidechains, mini-blockchains, and tree chains as solutions. These are exactly what Lisk is designed for.

Here is one of our Bitseed V2 units (it is the black unit with aluminum wall in front of the man's forehead) in a prototype demo at the Chain of Things conference and hackathon on 1 June 2016 in London using Solarcoin to monitor and verify solar power installation and generation with data logging. https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/chain-of-things-solar-case-study-blockchainiot-security .

Another major use will be outdoor mesh networking nodes with store and forward packet routing and custodial transfer for delay and disruption tolerant networking (DTN). This type of network infrastructure eliminates much of the congestion typical of mesh networks by eliminating packet loss from collisions. NASA has developed it for deep space communications, but it has terrestrial applications as well.
