I think nobody knows at this point. The Lisk team has set an arbitrary point roughly six months from now, but are optimistic, that actual forging will start way sooner. They are still working on the network, making it more stable.

But as far as I know, it is actually possible to vote delegates into the active slots, but they need to have at least around 14% of all Lisk voted for them. Can anybody confirm or deny this?

I can confirm this. If a standby delegates receives more votes than the current genesis delegates, they may replace them.

I'm a little worried about the present price, seems like the "DAO's effect" are decreasing the confidence on LSK.
It's only my perception?
Far away of the present price, is undeniable that LSK is a great project, even 0.00047  are not to bad for a entry, so, why people are selling so cheap?

DAO's meltdown of course lowered Lisk's price. And combine that with BTC rising = cheap Lisk.

For some reason people correlate ETH and Lisk together, almost like Lisk is the litecoin to  ETH. Either they do that out of ignorance (Lisk is just a fork of ETH, right?) ... or think the same problems ETH had, Lisk will have too. Or some reason... beats me... crypto doesn't always follow logic... actually it rarely does seem logical.

Right! That's the point, for a really young project like LSK keep a very strong support  (+/- 0.00060) while BTC was pumping was clue of the potential and solidity of LSK.
LSK,  breaks the support on June 17, Is the reason for me to correlate DAO-ETH/LSK.
