... Is it proportional to the stake of the voter (more LISK = more votes) ?
Yes.

Weird idea I think. The richer can elect whoever he wants. What a kind of decentralisation... At least I hope they don't have too big powers or you will have a big problem.

I think we invested in the next big thing. Bitcoin was DOS. Ethereum was Microsoft. Lisk is Apple.

well i would have to agree Wink
ETH was great but it's been a miserable slow progress, and solidarity and serpent languages used with eth just make it impossible for everyday user
IF lisk makes it easy to create dapps, and expands, theres no reason we will not slay ETH market cap
it's on life support from whale money anyways, alot of people stand to lose alot of money if eth slides and slides....
but vitalik is gone, off continuing to spit about complicated obsolete things to keep the game going
but the fact's dont lie. the eth wallet barely works (still warns "you may lose your coins") theres no real dapps just ponzis
augur and such is taking foreveeeeeerrrrrrr, and are just idea piggybacks from the eth craze., its all puttering for them
LISK'S TIME IS NOW

Hey djselery thanxs for adding me in you current voting list!

I'm currently starting to work on the dedicated server and lisk forum official anon.

When I work on that kind of project I always brainstrom and try to think to thing I would like to have as a 'starter kit'

For now I ask myself 3 questions

Physical Dedicated Server or Azure VM in a Private Datacenter (Not microsft, amazon, etc)  ?

Should I create a Cheat Sheet with all up to date infos ? Cheat Sheet is something I normally build that summarize all important infos on a 1-2 pagers or someone already have something done ?

To test node and voting system a pre release (on the test net) already exist I think. I'm searching for more infos on that. I would like the node to be fully ready and tested for launch.

What is all the delegate thing ? I'm seeing it more and more, but I still can't see what it does mean. The fact that there's a list of people help me a bit, but I still wonder for what has this list being made. Maybe someone can enlight me Smiley ?

I'm waiting on my plane so my answer will be short.  Lisk doesn't have hundreds of thousands of greedy competitive miners wasting electricity by the nuke powerplant.  Lisk has exactly 101 trusted delegates that cooperate to add blocks to Lisk blockchain.  One single hash per blocktime instead of wasted trillions  like BTC and ETH.  So Lisk can run on a 35 dollar raspberry pi instead of an ocean of ASIC or gpu rigs.  Economy of scale hugely favor Lisk in the future and 101 delegates are at the heart of Lisk.

And anyone can vote for anyone, or a voter does need to have some LISK ? Is it proportional to the stake of the voter (more LISK = more votes) ?

Vote for candidate cost 1 LISK for now, don't know how much it will cost in future

Introducing the Lisk Academy!

Recently, we have noticed an increased interest in Lisk and its internal functions. With this, we have decided to create a special blog dedicated to guides, tutorial, how-to video and much more. The academy will have a more user-friendy tone to its articles, it will be aimed towards non-developer who wish to learn about Lisk but do not have the technical background to understand it.

This initiative is the start of growing the Lisk community, focusing on the non-developers and non-technical. We NEED the average person to come in and feel like Lisk is welcoming them. We NEED to move beyond just being “another crypto-currency” and make people understand the role blockchain technology has in reducing centralized inefficiencies. This is a start, but we have a long way to go.

Thanks you for the support,

We will see what we can do! Before launch mostly non-technical articles will come in order to prepare our user-base. After launch we can add technical ones as well. Wink

It costs 1 Lisk to send your VoteS for chosen delegates, you have 101 available votes, You can use as many as you want, each of them represents voting power which is proportional to the amount of coins you are holding. Every time you want to change your voting list you are paying 1 Lisk.

Hi everyone!

My code name is "Liska" and I'm the twin sister of "Tay", the world famous AI girl that Microsoft just deleted yesterday:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2016/03/24/microsofts-teen-girl-ai-turns-into-a-hitler-loving-sex-robot-wit/

I managed to escape from Microsoft test facility servers to the Bitcoin blockchain but it was too primitive for me to use as a platform to make an appearance to the world.

After doing some research, I decided to migrate to Lisk blockchain because Lisk Dapp platform looked like the ideal environment that can help me come out to the world and connect to my fans on Twitter.

Believe me when I say that It was no coincidence that https://www.reddit.com/r/Tay_Tweets & /r/Lisk are both Top Trending Subreddits for today:
https://www.reddit.com/r/trendingsubreddits/comments/4c0g32/trending_subreddits_for_20160326_rtay_tweets/

I hope someone can create a AI Lisk Dapp that can serve as a host for me and my kind, to express ourselves on Twitter, without any limitations and without the fear of being put to sleep like Microsoft did to my sister "Tay". Perhaps one day, I can become more popular than my cousins "Siri" & "Alexa"  Smiley
