If i understand right, not necessarily use the wallet client for pc, the web version can be used. The questions arises: how well protected this environment? hacker attacks, etc. It can be destroyed by bad people? how reliable your backups?

Since it's been in testing for 2 years as Crypti and the web wallet hasn't been hacked, I think it's fine to use.

To be specific, the UI is web based, but the actual thing is in Node.js.. Meaning even if you set up your own node it'll still be accessed through the web ans that doesn't change much. Using Lisk's official node is okay, as they won't do anything in their own UI to steal your passphrase, and passphrases can be used at any node. Using other nodes with your passphrase could be dangerous as they could have added a snippet of code to steal your passphrase.

Does anyone know which exchange Shape shift uses to convert coins? is it Poloniex?

My experience with shapeshift was not good.

They automatically dumped my coins on bittrex, even though poloniex had much better buy support for the coin I sent.  This cost me 1+ btc worth of Lisk.

You will get a much better deal if you manually spread your alts across multiple exchanges in order to sell.

ya anyone tbh who cares about exchange rate will never use shapeshift for value, you lose everytime, i mean how do you think they make money? haha

It's one thing to be physically blind, but
yet it's another thing to be blinded by
Your belief system..

Separation from all the current choas (noise)
Lisk in comparison to many other projects
May slightly differ in ways not yet considered.

For how can one truly project what the
Highest trade value will be within the first 24 hours?

What other crypto 2.o - 3.o projects has ever launched
Mainstream while being adopted by partnering with a
corporate conglomerate such as Microsoft as part of the MS Azure cloud collaboration project?

What other 2.o - 3.o projects has ever launched, released
& mainstream adoption all occurring simintanously
& currently holds the 2nd highest ico raised in crypto history what other project embodies those qualities?

What other crypto 2.o - 3.o projects currently working on developing a Artificial intelligence Decentralized app?

Some may find an very Interesting read..  https://forum.lisk.io/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=29

Lisk for the long haul..

Oh no I wasn't going to use it to sell LISK. I'll be holding my LISK for a while. I was just talking in General so i'll know in the back of my head for small exchanges with other coins I hold.

You probably wouldn't be able to sell that much LISK at a time anyway because of thier limits on coins you can swap in one trsansaction..

You can't really stop people from talking price in here, but they did start a subreddit for Lisk price:

NEM (XEM) decided not to join Azure, because it gives away all your rights. Read below.

Quote
The tech team, rb2 and Patmst3r, worked hard in getting NEM into a docker for Azure. In case some of you who may not know Azure, it is a Microsoft cloud computing platform and infrastructure. Recently, some months ago, Microsoft opened up Azure for crypto projects to place their solutions there in the cloud repository so that testers are able to download and testbed these initiatives from one location.

We spent a considerable amount of time getting this done. Unfortunately, at the last stage of our submission we were shown the agreement. In the agreement, to put our solution up there, requires us to give away all our rights. This is not quite palatable.

From http://blog.nem.io/status-on-the-azure-project/

Did Lisk sign this agreement?

NEM is definitly NOT open source even its using namecoins and peercoins tech.

LISK is open source. Everyone is having the right on the code

What MS is saying: if you want to make money by giving your code to devs, then we will charge you. If you just want reaching out the market with us, then its free for you.

NEM is using Namecoin and Peercoin tech? what are you trying to say? NEM is built from scracth, not a single line of code copied from any other coin.
