BTC Counter

The BTC counter on our website and on the ICO website is currently offline, because due to the API changes (Blockr offline) also unconfirmed transactions were added to the counter. To be on the safe side we deactivated it for now. Oliver is currently fixing this issue.

Thank you!

Kind regards,
Max & Oliver

Holding more LISK = more votes.  Saying it has nothing to do with the amount of LISK you are holding is a dumbass thing to say.

The community as a whole holds the most Lisk of all and can override any one individual voting for themselves, no matter how big a pile of Lisk that is.

Okay, I think I understand now.

I still think Max and Oliver will end up with several delegates each.

Why would you vote for a competing delegate?

If I have 4% of supply, then I will give all of my delegates 4% of the vote, and not add to any of my competitors' %

There are no competing delegates.  Because Lisk DPoS is a COOPERATIVE system that must have 101 people to work.  And you want your candidate delegate to be responsible in the eyes of the community so it will receive a bulk of COMMUNITY votes, which are greater in total number than any individual's voting power.

Delegates are competing to get enough votes to be in the top 101

If you are running a delegate, why would you vote for a competitor's delegate and add to their % ?

So if I have 4% of vote, I am only voting for my own delegates.

If I give someone else a 4% bump, maybe this knocks me down to 102 spot, and I earn no money.  Not a rational thing to do.

every delegate should have 2 votes (first that can be used on anybody (even himself) and second that can be use only for somebody else)

From a game theory standpoint, you would then take away your 4% vote from delegates ranked above you to get back in the top 101.  It is an iterative process with more than 101 voters who are constantly adjusting their votes to meet the twin goals of  getting 101 people in place that are needed to run the system while  staying in that group of 101 themselves.  Eventually it stabilizes.  It's not just your voting power that counts, no matter what your voting power is - most of the voters are not trying to run a delegate at all.

Or you create just hundreds of accounts with a vote each... no matter what: Votes are always depending on amounts...
and thats why the ones with a small stake wont be able to delegate.

Maybe the dev team can increase the available supply. Psychologically it is better for the new buyers after the ICO.  Wink

I'm one of the few people in this thread having an actual discussion (instead of shouting about price and fud) over the dpos system and salary of devs and you insult me like a child, go fuck yourself.

But you are stupid as fuck, dude. In Crypti in order to get to 101 list you'd need to get over 20% votes. With only 8% (Max + Oliver together) you'd be way out of 101 delegates. How complicated it is to understand that? Yes they'll have some advantage with these 8%, but only over anonymous delegates. I seriously doubt they have many respectful sockpuppet users on the forum. And nobody will vote for newbies who run delegates.

I think what hurt BitShares a lot was that it only had 101 delegates, why not 1001 delegates for the main chain?!

the dev team. lol.

there are just 2 of them. i think a team is considered with 2+ otherwise you speak of the 2 devs.

@HQLisk

how far are you with the plans of hiring people like devs and support?

Would you be willing to share the address of the wallet/account holding the crowd funds?  I mean that would prove the numbers/accuracy.  Did Ethereum do this or any other coins?  Excuse me if I am mistaken.

I think they are all seperate transactions. I can still see the BTC at my deposit address.

there are so far 3300 donaters. maybe 1001 are too much, but i would even say make 100001. i dont know how a delegate system can be in favor of a system like btc, where the best developing ideas are getting integrated.... except that the 101 are getting alot of stash and thats just not good.
