A dump could cause panic and amateurs would sell so whales can buy back at lower price. People need to put more trust in what they put their money in.

The problem is, that most people don't know about those techniques and they don't see the danger... possible scenario: after release on the first exchange the wale dumps everything down to 50% of the ipo. There is no price support, because everyone is already in (and the smarter ones know about this dump). A lot of week hands of the ico loose half of their money and the wale will buy everything back in order to have even more of the coins...

Just let them pump the hell out of it. In the end it is ALL PnD.
Lisk is NOT a pump and dump coin and it is worth fighting right here and right now to keep it that way. once any coin hits the exchanges it's open season for the market to decide what happens to price. the price is a reflection of all variables, and whales are a well known variable factor in crypto trading. If after the ICO closes on Monday things look difficult Max and Oliver could have a rethink. It can come under 'force majeure'. indentured servitude is a thing of the past. I would suggest a full refund and a new ICO, issued by an incorporated entity this time, and with limits on individual contributions to the fund. the rules need to be better thought through imho.

But those people are probably going to fall for it even when warned.

Hello, What is the difference between dPoS vs PoS? How to reward work in dPoS? An example with 10,000 LISK. What are the benefits the dPoS LISK user?
More info about dPoS? Thank you

Max and Oliver are losing control of this coin. Two people now own more Lisk than the Lisk Foundation does. What happens when the next whale comes in with 2000 BTC? 5000 BTC? These could very well be Ethereum "newly rich" that absolutely do not have the best interest of Lisk at heart.
We are in hostile takeover territory.
Given that its designed to be decentralized, I don't think they were supposed to have control of it in the first place.

changing the rules at the last moment of the ICO would've a serious impact on dev's credibility, so I think they won't do anything about whales investing btc more than what we saw lately. We are all taken by surprise here, and so they are.

Who invests 1000 BTC in an ICO in one go (without any bonus)? Seeing my LISK deplete so fast is really frustrating. After owning a good percentage of all Crypti available, now my LISK amount looks so so less. Can someone make the time go faster please, end the ICO like right NOW!!

I HEREBY OFFICIALLY VOTE THAT THE LISK ICO BE DECLARED OVER AT 6000 BTC (BEFORE THE RECENT 1000 and 300 BTC DONATIONS) TO AVOID A HOSTILE TAKEOVER OF THIS COIN IN THE REMAINING 64 HOURS.
dream on... they had to do a hard cap in the beginning already. now its against the rule... I would like it, but I guess it doesn't work Offer refunds for a breach of the rules. Nobody will ask for a refund. Yea, but why should they do that? The more we spend, the more they get... I agree. And I say more: refund this whale's money back or this will become a joke. Negotiate with them to be made a smaller purchase... Without getting the big whale out i think this will fail hard cause he will have to much control.

well this whale just put all of us day one investors in a tizzy. it's not every day someone invests almost a half a million dollars and gives everyone else a 10% haircut in their lisk total. as i wrote earlier, if this becomes an impediment to the health of the project the ICO gets refunded under force majeure and a new ICO is issued by an incorporated entity with clear cap rules on funding. I would suggest all investors must have a verified Onename identity. the 1k whale can fuck off.

Early investors are not really rewarded. All those, that come now come because of the amount the early investors spent... and they only get up to 15% more... ridiculous...
