So what's the latest with the Bter cold XCR being sent to the Lisk ico? Any explanation from them? Or straight up criminal act with user funds?

Last thing I heard was that you'll be able to contact bter for lisk later after release or something like that.

I'm sure the lisk guys are busy trying to verify all the transactions and will come to a reasonable solution.

So bter independently made the decision for its own users? If the LISK they traded for ends up being worth more, they might not mind, but it's still stealing from them.

this is BS and those funds should not be allowed to be used in the ICO. they should be returned to BTER

1 Lisk=$1?. This very well but I think it has much more potential .

Would people really sell at $1? seems like very short term thinking.

I think $1 will be the floor, it will be testing $2-$3.

Let BTER convert them to Lisk on the open market, that is the only fair solution.

I could be wrong usually & normally I am.

Sam Walton, founder of the corpoarate giant walmart
Learn how to build his business by visiting & doing
a price analysis, price comparison at K-mart...
It was known Sam Walton of walmart got
Caught numerous times in
Kmart store & had to be escorted out the store..
Heres why because he was learning
his competition from the inside out... (art~of~war)

hence, if Lisk is to gain a footing of the Dapp market
& Capitalize on this exciting trend then Lisk has to
make smarter moves than Ether, it must learn what
Ether isn't doing & build on that, what are Ether weaknesses & take advantage of that?

Does Lisk have what it take to slice the pie
and gain a market share of ether.

Attracting the right talent to Lisk, is one of the main
Objectives. Building Dapps & getting this project ready
for lift off in the up coming weeks ahead.
many are hopeful that Lisk can
deliver with very resourceful budget now.

Launch set
Date: 2016/4/11 [subject to change]

Since there's no opportunity to trade prior to hitting the exchanges, I hope marketing funds are used to make a big splash in April. I support the project, I bought my xx amt in BTC.  With weeks away before launch, that's a lot of time for other projects to grab some mindshare.

Every project is the next Bitcoin or next Ethereum. That phrase is tossed around almost as much as fud, troll and shill around here. I'm supporting Lisk on it's own merits. With 5 million in the bank, I can't wait to see the development team that's hired.

Cautiously optimistic.

I've changed my idea, ill buy a Lambo, now the fact is, Black, Orange or White?

buy a nice bicycle instead.

cars are vulgar.

Cars are vulgar, girls are pretentious, meat causes cancer? So to be a modern man you need to ride a bicycle, let men fuck you in the ass and eat vegetables? Thanks, but no. Although I totally appreciate your choice Smiley

Can someone please let me know - what is the advantage for JavaScript developers to create dApps?  I mean this for Ethereum or Lisk, or any decentralized crypto.  What really is the point?  Is there massive profit potential for developers?

Developers make apps to make money, generally.  If there's money to be made with Lisk dApps, JavaScript developers will naturally be drawn to it.  If there's no money, then what's the method for enticing them?

Not everyone wants to create open-source apps and give them away for free.  There's a reason Apple's App Store attracts so many developers, and yet other app stores and platforms go nowhere.  Is lisk building an App Store akin to Apple's?  Or are you guys who invested in Lisk basically wanting JavaScript developers to get excited by this language for the purpose of your own investment.

Put yourself in a JavaScript developer's shoes - what's in it for them?

P.S. I'm a JavaScript / software engineer myself.

construct new business models around distributed apps and distributed data. disrupt established markets and dominant players.

Now that you've brought up the subject, is there a Developer's Guide?

How does Lisk compare to Paycoin? Paycoin was full of red lights on the way to it's downfall....  I haven't noticed anything comparable.

Paycoin ran it's own cloud mining scam, totally out and out lied about deals with Amazon and other mainstream retailers, promised a bottom floor on price, which any dummy should know is impossible. I haven't seen anything like that from Lisk yet.

Of course there is potential to have a failed project, or an underwhelming price. But I'd say that's way different than falling for the Paycoin scam.
