It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

1 crypti = not even 1 cent.
Why 1 LISK 1 dollar bottom?
Pls explain, no troll.
Also peer2peer360, stop typing your posts like you're writing a poem.
0 activity lol, classic Who cares? I've got 5+ BTC invested for the off-chance that it pumps past ICO value, just so I get to dump it. I can see that happening. What I don't see happening is this project having long-term significance. There are people calling Ether a scam. Now there's something objectively silly. Vitalik passed every single round of questioning with flying colours. His posts on reddit are so technical that I don't understand a single line, yet I love it. It makes me trust him. It's legit. But for LISK? How could you possibly carry long-term expectations when it's a 100% copy of another project that isn't even worth 1 cent a piece? Not to mention the logo reminiscent of an 8-bit Atari game and the goofy team pictures.

Those are some really good points. I definitely see LISK's long-term potential now. Thank you.

Java based?? lol ummmm ok. Market for that seems to be dying down.
For the thousandth time, Javascript is not Java. Lisk uses JavaScript. LOL at how butthurt you and bananabread boy there are getting over this. Should I/we be worried about any LISK development/investment? Hrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. The point is, LISK SEEMS to have potential but it's very shady re. the btc investment for "What it is" which is nothing groundbreaking at all! Don't you people get that? You obviously have strong feelings for LISK which can easily cloud your judgement, thus I feel for you. It's not very impressive if you change your points you are critical about. First you said "Java based?? lol ummmm ok.", after the info that it's Javascript you quickly speak about "shady...btc investment" etc. The question is: What exactly is your point? OMG, just check his god fucking post history.. He has been Fudding here from the start.

Can someone please let me know - what is the advantage for JavaScript developers to create dApps? I mean this for Ethereum or Lisk, or any decentralized crypto. What really is the point? Is there massive profit potential for developers?
Developers make apps to make money, generally. If there's money to be made with Lisk dApps, JavaScript developers will naturally be drawn to it. If there's no money, then what's the method for enticing them?
Not everyone wants to create open-source apps and give them away for free. There's a reason Apple's App Store attracts so many developers, and yet other app stores and platforms go nowhere. Is lisk building an App Store akin to Apple's? Or are you guys who invested in Lisk basically wanting JavaScript developers to get excited by this language for the purpose of your own investment.
Put yourself in a JavaScript developer's shoes - what's in it for them?
P.S. I'm a JavaScript / software engineer myself.
Lisk Dapp Store offers several significant advantages for App developers, compared to traditional App stores: Decentralized App Market. App stores like iOS App store & Google Play are CENTRALIZED, meaning they're controlled by one entity (Apple/Google/Amazon, etc). .Lisk Dapp Store is DECENTRALIZED, meaning it's hosted on Lisk network of 1000's of computers, not by Lisk Corporation. 0% Sales Commission.Developers must pay 30% commission of their APP sales revenue to Apple/Google/Amazon. .Developers pay 0% commission of their DAPP sales revenue on Lisk Dapp store. 0% Downtime. Apps may become inaccessible should hardware issues arise at the App hosting company (Apple/Google/Amazon, etc). . Lisk Dapps experience 0% Downtime since they're hosted on a network of 1000's of computers. 0% corruption.Blockchain technology offers transparency for Dapps. For example; finances, poll results, high scores, etc. can be audited by anyone. No Restrictions.App developers always risk suspension by Apple/Google/Amazon or governments. There are no restrictions with Dapps and regulations are impossible to enforce. thank you, this is interesting
