Within first 30 days after launch 1 Lisk= $5 USD.  Mark my words.  Grin

it took eth a year to do that. but you thibk lisk will do this in 30 days?

Sorry but Lisk is not 30 days old.

Lisk is built by Crypti developers who have been perfecting that platform for 2 FREAKING YEARS.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654463.0

So a rise similar to Ethereum is very well-deserved and well-justified.

Yes, here is the documentation:

https://lisk.io/documentation?i=lisk-docs/README

Can someone please let me know - what is the advantage for JavaScript developers to create dApps?  I mean this for Ethereum or Lisk, or any decentralized crypto.  What really is the point?  Is there massive profit potential for developers?

Developers make apps to make money, generally.  If there's money to be made with Lisk dApps, JavaScript developers will naturally be drawn to it.  If there's no money, then what's the method for enticing them?

Not everyone wants to create open-source apps and give them away for free.  There's a reason Apple's App Store attracts so many developers, and yet other app stores and platforms go nowhere.  Is lisk building an App Store akin to Apple's?  Or are you guys who invested in Lisk basically wanting JavaScript developers to get excited by this language for the purpose of your own investment.

Put yourself in a JavaScript developer's shoes - what's in it for them?

P.S. I'm a JavaScript / software engineer myself.

construct new business models around distributed apps and distributed data. disrupt established markets and dominant players.

Now that you've brought up the subject, is there a Developer's Guide?

funny reason. sorry to say that this site is not really relevant here. of course websites use nearly only javascript. They even can't use C++ normally. Browser don't support it ;-)
But of course its cool, that lisk uses javascript. I also say that...

See it like that. You have Backend and Frontend code. One runs on the operating system and one in the browser or any gui.

Both is needed for a DAPP. Backend can be written in nearly any language you can just compile it and it runs. But you can also run javascript there.
Frontend can be written only "theoretically" in any language. Browsers can only run javascript. So anything else has to be somehow ran through a extra parser. It's getting too slow. So you normally "can" only use javascript itself. Of course you can use the other languages for local applications without the browser. But that's extra work for different operating systems.

Thats why javascript gets much attention lately, because you can write the same language in the frontend and the backend and you can "share" some code as well...

I think Lisk if well worked will be one of the major currencies in the future, but only if they meet all of its projects, the ICO was a success and step marketing was much better, hope that their creators now on continue doing things right

Wow so LISK has 100 million coins compared to ETH 60 million (year one)....So good luck getting a higher price than ETH

Doesnt need to be higher than eth .. 70 cents is good enough ...   I will take that.

I think ETH and LISK will operate much like BTC/LTC ratio, maybe about the 10 % ratio at min, so long as devs don't screw it up.

Some estimate price of Lisk when it comes to exchange?

Thanks.

most take profit about $.30-$.50, then with more news we rise to $1. LISK is def the best opportunity right now if only because the China aren't there (yet) to wreck another coin.

Looking at coinmarketcap, it would seem that ETH never dropped below it's ICO price.

If I have my figures right, ETH was bought at between 0.0005BTC and 0.00074 in the ICO. The lowest price on CMC was around 0.0015 during October last year - so it's been at at least 2x ICO price the whole time.

I expect quite a few others are the same.

That's a really weird quote you have haha.
Anyway, I'm just voting for the people who've been active and who seems enthusiastic about Lisk and having a delegate node.
I'm not choosy with who I vote for, but I don't just vote for anyone with a node Smiley

thats almost a -50% loss

No, it didn't.... it just didn't.......

It would be over a 90% loss, if it had happened, which it didn't.

Are you the one who I make most of my profit from?
