I am thinking we should organize a Dapp development internship on looksharp.com or internship.com for LISK.
I have utilize both of theses services in the past as an employer.
You maybe to reward them with LISK if they would like payment but it isn't a must.
You maybe able to reward them with LISK if they would like payment but it isn't a must.
Interns that have skills in javascript are in the thousands on on looksharp.com and internship.com
We just have to introduce them to LISK.
So I will consider making an internships on both websites to see what I can find.

They have remote/work from home internships on both services as an option.

here are the two links for my current internships on these services.

Tell me what you think about this.

I would like to work with the lisk team to further promote Lisk and Dapps.

Yes, I think people who do this with the knowledge on how to get LISK out to actual developers is probably the best strategy.  The more we can get people outside the crypto world to talk about LISK the better.

when can we claim our coins and so on?

I'm constantly astonished at the number of people who sink BTC into a coin without reading about what they are getting into...  Roll Eyes

altcoins = shitcoins

get used to it.

I remember when people used to call Bitcoin a giant scam and a "shitcoin" and when the only conversation was if deflationary currency could work.

Thank you!

And now that I got someone on the line Smiley , is there any chance of throwing up a primitive block explorer that does only two things: shows the LISK balance for an inputted LISK account, and shows the LISK balance for an inputted LISK public key? Thanks.

You can get the balance of an account with this api call:
/api/accounts/getBalance?address=address

Sure sure, it's that black and white. Smiley As projects like Ethereum and Lisk grow, Bitcoin falls into the alt category.  I'm not big on lazy labels such as 'shitcoins' but to each their own.

No different than people that invest in traditional stocks and haven't done the research. Sometimes they get lucky and that's fine.

Hehehe so true.

Bitcoin is vanishing, Altcoins are taking over.

Bitcoin is stone age technology compared to what Altcoins offer.

At this moment it also looks like there will be several exchanges trading LISK immediately, or shortly after launch.

Guys any speculations on which exchanges these might be? The ICO success surely is attractive for them.

Yeah ccex and most likely poloniex. I contacted kraken and they said they won't be adding any other new currency to their exchange because it would divert attention away from what they are already doing. To quote them " At the present time we can't spare the resources needed to add a new currency ".

yeah, i'm sure bittrex will jump in fast then probably polo shortly after if lisk hasn't already established that.  They did say multiple so i'm guessing at least 3-4 exchanges, especially because of the size of the ICO.
bittrex sure, if not at launch after few days that see how thing will move on ccex

On my side, I contacted OKCoin and this is what they had to say:

"We are always on the lookout for new coins. However, adding a new coin is not to be taken lightly. As we are a large exchange, adding a new coin typically causes fluctuations in the coin price. We need to consider every coin carefully. And thank you for your attention"
