I know some are disappointed but for me this change to later May is kinda cool cause it ends up being on my birthday.  And I do think they are doing the wise and prudent thing by postponing until they are truly ready. |

Exchanges would want to capitalize on the initial trading action and get as much trade fees as possible. Plus, there are already exchanges like YoBit and C-cex on board. |

Just imagine, the lisk ICO turning scam... Stealing several million from the crypto / IT / dev community.. LOL fast way to get your life ruined by non-stop dox / hack...
**Full disclosure - I invested in ICO, this is my right to be concerned after funding a project that is postponed again and again.......... Shark tank would have kicked this shit to the curb by now.****

regarding the launch date: You have to aknowledge the fact, that the Lisk team was between a rock and a hard place. They had an Issue that needed to be fixed and tested afterwards. Maybe, just maybe, the most logical solution would have been to not give a fixed launch date at all, but they couldn't, for two reasons:
The FUD would have been even worse as it is now.
They had a reputation to lose.
Up until now, they did what they said, without exception. I know, people are going to point out that there was a launch "promised" in April and so on. But if you read back, no such promises were made, it were at all points estimations.
