May be. There was a research study about Japan. It claimed that the sexual activity is lowest among the Japanese adults, because many of them are addicted to porn and strange fetishes. So banning porn will be having a positive effect on the sexual health.

If we didn't have internet then it would be like we didn't develop from years ago. Socialization would be personal, transactions always through falling in line, books and publishing would be more alive. Interent indeed made the world more reachable for everyone. It made information more accessible and functions even faster. Sadly it was used also for not so good things.. but I believe that there will always be pros and cons for every century

The modern world cannot exist without technology. The Internet is at the top of all technologies and therefore, without it everything will stop. I don't think so, because technology already existed before internet is invented or developed. Technology is not only referring to electronic device or communication ways, it may also be electrical or mechanical such as transport vehicles for your information. Please read some book about world history and see for yourself what would be the society without internet.

If internet dies in future then people will go crazy and many businesses will have to shut down their operations as nowadays everything is dependent only on internet and it will also bring the closure of banks which will result in people loosing their money.

The question doesn't says that the internet will die in the future, it is asking the idea what if the internet was never invented from the start, where would society be? Or what if internet never existed?, should i say.
There are no businesses to shut down because they will not depend it on non-existing thing on the first place.
And internet is only use for an additional features of the banks, such automatics and online features, but before, the process are done manually.

People will interact more and they will have more friends and more time to spend for their friends and family. I think that life would be better if that happens. People are spending most of their time using internet and less time with their families and friends. It's true that internet helped us a lot, but somehow it worsen people's behavior.

I think without internet its like living in stone age days. People nowadays are so addicted of technology and i think you cant imagine to live without internet it has become a basic need of people. Seriously? The internet hasn't even been used 20years ago. Have we been living like in the stone age then? I don't think so. Though you probably are right that its now a necessity but we would've still found a way to progress if the internet wasn't introduced.

The internet has made my life as a graduate student so much easier. Research takes about a tenth as long as it did when we had to sit in the library and dig books off of shelves. Now I can just look up articles and download the pdf!

However I think the internet has also made people nastier in general. It makes me sick to see some of the comments people put on the internet while they hide behind their electronic veil. It is easier to stalk people (facebook, anyone?) and to ruin someone's life (identity theft, hacking).

People will still read books, children will play outside with other children, people will live writing and reading more, everything will be less complicated. Long distance relationships will still be waiting for their love letters every month or two.
