Yes, it is. Bitcoin have been used for illegal activities for many years and so do the money. Everything in this world can be easily abused by bad guys, bad organizations for bad purposes. However, as long as bitcoin keep developing, nothing can prevent it from being the new world currency

Global currency will not be possible, but that it can achieve recognition in each country, that's for sure. The main objective is to become a popular bitcoin currency and not give disadvantaged users to tarnish it.

Every coin has two sides, so there is nothing in the world that is not used for bad purposes along with good ones, but we cannot blame the thing for that the the one is to be blamed is the person or organization using it in a bad way, so bitcoin should not get any credit for its bad usage i guess.

Bitcoin can't be taxed for sure and with some tumbling tracking down bitcoin transaction is almost impossible.

In most well developed countries Bitcoin is already being taxed since the difference with money is zero. that is not true. i can be sure someone is using bitcoin for illegal activities if i just check some evidence. like the block chain for example. let us say i see a youtube video of someone creating an address and i check that address later with its transactions. there i could find some bitcoin send to another address which belongs to an site which offer some illegal goods. i know the site, the owner of the address and the blockchain is the prove of he transaction. what do i need more?

I believe that paper money is easier to use for illegal activities especially if these are local activities. On the other side if these activities are far away each other crypto coins is a solution. But I believe that this is not the Bitcoin for a simple reason. Bitcoin was "designed" as decentralized monetary system not a coin for users who wish to remain anonymous. I do believe that it is easier to make a illegal transaction with bitcoin than paper money, evidence are not seen by eyes, unless they would start searching you and you haven't destroyed your phones wallet or your laptops. paper money is so obvious when making a transaction, unlike in bitcoin, you can even do it without talking personally.

I believe we cannot control the mindset of the user of bitcoin, it's anonymous so they can do anything they wanted to do including illegal activities. That's already known in the beginning that bitcoin can possibly be use for illegal activities and we cannot do anything about that, the only thing we can do is to invest as I believe with illegal activities the demand of bitcoin will increase as well.

You might not directly feel it because it doesn't affect you at all, but bitcoin being used in illegal activities actually gives bitcoin a bad name. You might not care about that and only think of earning money through bitcoins but bitcoin's reputation actually matters. All those bad stories about bitcoin has lead the majority into thinking that it is a scam and the users of it are doing something illegal online. It discourages the non-bitcoin users so that prolongs the mass adoption period.

well we need to make a better job at explaining what bitcoin is. if we do it right we might end up with more legal businesses. but i see a problem here.
bitcoin is more complicated then fiat and most people have already a problem with the understanding of fiat money. educating is what we need the most.
