Anything that involves stealing is illegal in any way. Its better to pay the electricity you consumed on your mining  than to steals neihboors electricity, just think that they would suffer big current bill because of you which is really not good what if it happens to you? you would know the feeling of being cheated by anyone. You might kill them if you knew what they are doing

That's right friends, all forms of theft is illegal and the state also set about it to me of course, I do not want to be cheated, with it so I tried not to cheat others.

I think Bitcoin is being used for illegal activities. USD and every currency is used for illegal activities too. The problem is that BTC is harder to catch.

Absolutely right, and therefore if each currency can be used for illegal activities why blame bitcoin, because that wrong was not the money but the person. Perhaps it is their people who from the beginning was not like bitcoin.

That doesn't really make sense. If i used normal money to buy drugs or guns, I'm pretty sure that that that currency would be banned. It's not the currency's fault, it's the consumer's. You shouldn't blame bitcoin for the illegal activities that people participate in.

That is the time i started using bitcoin in our country they called it online paluwagan they used bitcoin for there transaction after payment they get activated in there facebook.

The difference of bitcoin is that people can use it for payment with anonymity making it an advantage for them because they can’t be traced by the authorities easily. There are no documents needed when someone wanted to transact bitcoin so authorities will not be able to retrieve evidence to put down the people doing illegal activities. Transaction fees are also minimal when using it making it preferable because the more funds available to them then the more transaction they can make which means more profit. So to answer the question, yes bitcoin is use in illegal activities.

You must not generalized that all filipinos were scammers. Lots of people in the world are scammers in any country and in any place. Yes i do agree it all depends on a person on what his/her intent even if his american,indian,malaysian or any other nationalities. Scammers are verywhere any part of the globe.

No doubt about that, since we consider bitcoin as money, then we can use it to pay someone.. But, I don't consider gambling as illegal.. There are gambling sites who operates but still following the local laws.. I just don't know about online gambling sites, I don't know if they really have permits and are really paying taxes, I read sometimes in a local news paper here in the Philippines, that there are online gambling sites operated by foreigners, some were sometimes raided by the police as it is illegal..

I don't think this will get bitcoin banned because there is no currency which is not used for iillegal activities

I also don't think that bitcoin will gonna ban due to these scammers and illegal activities that people do or done  in bitcoin. People scam other people and get there all money but it will not affect or lead to the banning of bitcoin. Yes if bitcoin challenge the state or illegal activities happens in a state level like black money or other things that are illegal in any state  then it would be ban.

i really don't know if bitcoin is being used for some illegal activities but we cannot remove the possibility of it. there is also a thread here asking if bitcoin can be used to buy drugs. the only illegal activity that i know which involves bitcoin is scamming others.

You mean bitcion being anonymous. There is still information but not a lot is needed. But at this way also it is limited to send money. The sending limit will be according to how much information you would give.

Yes exactly. Bitcoin has valued so no doubt it can be used on whatever type of money transaction that other financial or currency involved to. Whether for legal or illegal it's not new to heard.
