Yes bitcoin is widely used for illegal purpose because it is pseudonymous and do criminals find out much safer to use bitcoin for transaction rather then real currency. There is no way to track the user who is sending money to whom. So it's of comfort for them.

Yea yes i think that everybody here in this bitcoin talk forum chat thinks that it is used by illegall activities like hacking account from some person which is using bitcoin I mean bitcoin wallet like coinpayments,blockhain ,xapo  and other bitcoin account or they even go to hack exchanges and take bitcoin from other persons.There are also scammers which are creating hyip sites and they little time give payments and then they run with investitor money or they even not pay any payment so it is better than to use only ptc and revenue share sites and they are also scammers which are selling fake product which acctualy not help I mean you already know that.

That's true and I found out that most of the criminals are even smarter than us. Because they know how to use such technology and abuse it for real. Just like now, bitcoin is being used for different illegal trades and way back no technology there are only illegal activities. So when there is upgrade in technology, criminals will upgrade too.

Definitely they should because that is there business to protect themselves and to be able to continue their business without getting caught. But still if they are smarter than us, government are still smarter than them so in the right time they will be caught and will be prosecuted.

I don't think that the government are smarter than them because here in my country most of the criminals have their very own protectors who are implementing rules of the government. It is just like they playing in their own hands and the people who surrounds them are protecting them and in bitcoin illegal activities they know the consequences they will get if they will not stop. That's why they are not stopping because they know how they will come out.

Corruption is a problem all over the world but there are counties where this problem is endemic, however you are talking about organized crime since they are the only ones with the power to buy protection for the lone criminal on the street buying protection is simply not possible.

Well we have a freedom to use bitcoin since it is is still not controlled by government and yeah bitcoin is anonymous but i think we should not abuse the uses of bitcoin because it can affect the image of bitcoin to other good people..

Personally, I am thinking that those characteristics of bitcoin is beneficial to us all, whether you are using it for good or bad, and because of those characteristics, there is no wonder, that even the one with not much knowledge, not interested in bitcoin and don't have a plan to go long term with it users it for their illegal deeds. Think of it, we could buy bitcoin anytime and without asking who we are, So if you want to hide your transactions, you could simply buy the exact amount of bitcoin that you will use and the other side would just convert it to fiat after receiving.

btc has been made popular by illegal drugs in the first place and that is why now so many people start to know of it. Although it has a bad start, it is the system that btc has makes it popular from then onwards. The system is very useful if it can be used correctly and a lot of government know that. bitcoin between all available coins is actually not a good option to use @ illegal activities
it is pseudonymous and easy to link with user identity ,and there is the scary immutable
public ledger called 'blockchain' at the top .
i think if i was to do illegal activities with digital currencies probably i go with other than
bitcoin , some of altcoins provide way better properties useful for criminals.
of course where is money flows , crime is present

I agree with you anyway the whole people will not know what people are doing with their bitcoin, because every transaction will always be anonymous you will not know the transaction was for what and from whom, so I do not think it needs to be made as a matter

Anything can be used for illegal activities even water. The heart of men is full of evil. Sometimes, I just begin to imagine how someone will just wake up and everything he could think of is do evil. Are you sure about that, paypal does protect the buyer for 90 days after the purchase, and you can dispute the transaction in those period, meaning you can use the product and then be refunded by paypal,anyway its insane. Bitcoin can be used for legal as ilegal transactions, soo isnt any surprise bitcoin bad use.

Any currency is used for illegal activities.Bitcoin is used for this as well.

I don`t see a problem here.This might hurt bitcoin reputation, but a don`t see any major damage.
