Well, if you play with great ambition, of course it will make your life ruined. What is your next plan after covered your previous huge losses? Do you still want to gamble again or just stopped this kind of activity? If you stopped, thats good but if you still gamble I am affraid if in the future you will encouter the similar situation(terrible result) again and you cant recover again. You should never get to a point where gambling can 'wreck your life'. Seriously my friend gambling is supposed to be fun, we all have the highs & lows of winning and losing but please never gamble with sums of money that can 'wreck your life'.

it can be for a living for some people; poker is the best example of this i think; ive gone to RL casinos several times before and some of those big poker players quite literally live at the casino making a living off poker. this is only a few people though, the true gambling addicts.

but i think it will not so much helpful if some one play gambling to depend on it for living, i think it will not be such a wise decision, because in gambling you may not be sure that either you will win or lose.
