Hello all! I know it has been a while since the last update, however, a lot has happened! We have assisted in development and launch of the world's first QORA clone, containing with it some new ideas on how to run a truly fair experience based economy. The beta version is released, and is a clone of QORA gen 1 with new functionality, and completely new ideas implemented. With the partnership of the KARMAship guys, comes many new opportunities for QORA, added function to its codebase, and some overall different ideas that since being made possible for KARMA, has changed the way I am thinking about a few things and the overall direction for QORA itself.

With that being said...



Ideas for QORA Gen 1 - The Trade Gateway and CrowdFunding platform with direct cross-chain trades p2p and fully decentralized

The overall idea here is this... We would like to build a UI atop the QORA chain that will contain within it the functionality for DIRECT cross-chain trading with BTC. (Other projects will be able to be added as well, however, BTC and probably LTC, along with one or two others will be the beta.)

The platform will be built with the idea to be utilized transparently within the CrowdFunding SmartContract (currently called 'QrowdFund' but will be renamed to 'Qrowd' and be perfected and modified into a single application)

This SmartContract, is already a totally automated and decentralized application running atop the QORA chain. We will pair it with enhanced function, a better look, and more features, to make it the premier Bitcoin CrowdFunding application.

The application will be the only of its type in existence, built atop a fully decentralized system, with EVERYTHING including the UI, backend, etc... running ON CHAIN, on the QORA existing blockchain.

The application will bring with it the following...


- The ability to fund projects and ideas and whatever people use CrowdFunding like 'GoFundMe' for... in Bitcoin directly, without even realizing the user is making use of an  altcoin at all.

- Everything that utilizes QORA for the backend function, will be done fully transparently. Giving the feel and idea of full Bitcoin-only use. Bitcoin, and probably Litecoin and eventually others will be supported.

- Users of the platform will not ever know they are making use of an alt, instead will only see and make use of Bitcoin directly. Allowed to fund their projects/ideas with Bitcoin directly from other user contributions.


The backend of the Qrowd application, will take fees in QORA and BTC for the users putting up their projects and ideas, which will be given out to the new 'SuperNodes' on QORA network... Which brings me to...


QORA Gen 1 - The addition of 'SuperNodes' , 'Qrowd' (fully decentralized Bitcoin CrowdFunding platform/application) and 'QORA-Trade' (the fully decentralized cross-chain coin trade gateway and order book system)

Within the launch of the KARMAship platform, was the addition of 'SuperNodes' to the QORA codebase. This idea sparked another idea that I had been attempting to finalize for a while, for QORA itself, as it sits in Gen 1. The idea is to allow for 'SuperNodes' that will be the liquidity providers on the QORA network for use of the Qrowd app and the Trade Gateway, and in turn be rewarded with the associated fees from the platforms.

SuperNodes will be implemented into QORA. These nodes will be the ones that are reaping the rewards from the use of the Qrowd application, its fees, and the use of the 'trade gateway' (essentially a DEX but only used for trades directly between people, and not used for 'day trading'. At least not right away...)

The SuperNode specifics are still being decided, and have yet to even really be discussed within the core team, but as the details get decided, we will come post them here for everyone.

Liquidity providers coming into the QORA ecosystem will be given SuperNodes, so that their contribution of liquidity necessary to run the applications that will be built atop QORA, will be rewarded in kind.

These SuperNode 'owners' will be able to be changed, as it is not a given that the SuperNode holders and thus liquidity providers will remain being such. Therefore, there will be a unique method of 'being an owner' over the rewards provided by each SuperNode.

The SuperNodes, I'm still deciding upon exact specifics for, however, I believe they will most likely simply be the 'block producers' of the network. The QORA algo will be modified from providing rewards to individual users, to instead, only providing the network fees associated with transactions to the SuperNodes, along with the Qrowd fees, and trade gateway fees.

There will be a limited number of SuperNodes on the network, which will have to be decided upon by QORA community and such as time goes on... we will make decisions and post them for discussion in Discord prior to implementation.

I believe the best way to handle things, would be to have a SmartContract be the sole 'owner' of the SuperNode's private keys, then have a method of 'assigning ownership' of the supernode's rewards, to a given account based on votes done within the QORA ecosystem. However, the votes will also need to be changed in terms of how they function, because right now the votes being solely reliant upon the amount of coins in the account of the holder, is I believe, an incorrect way of doing things, and should not be the way it is done. Therefore a new voting system will need to be created. We may potentially take a few 'ideas' from the KARMAship network in regards to the way this system will work as well, though this has yet to be discussed. More detail will follow as it is decided upon.



QORA Gen 1 - There will no longer be a 'swap' upon the release of Gen 2 (please limit the flames to 1 per second. At least until reading the entire post. )


Because QORA Gen 1 will be a multi-faceted platform for decentralized trading and CrowdFunding, and a mechanism put in place to reward liquidity providers, and allow users to make the best use of these systems... Generation 1 of QORA is NOT going to be taken down. It is NOT going to be stopped, and it is NOT going to be swapped to the Gen 2 chain upon release.

I know this may be the opposite of what most people thought was going to happen, and that's because... well... it's the opposite of what we had initially thought as well. But we have many reasons for this.

- QORA as it sits, is already fully mined out. This means there are no 'new rewards' for 'mining' etc... Therefore, another method is needed to 'power the chain' and keep it going. Thus... the applications and SuperNode system is perfect for this, and will only work within an ecosystem that is already in the state such as QORA is.

- QORA has a cap and it will continue to have one. This will give more inherent value to the existing coins held, especially considering many of them have been lost since launch, and QORA holders who still have their tokens will be able to continue having them, however with a reason for them to increase in value being implemented.

- The overall QORA platform is too functional... I know, what? Right?... it's true... Right now, there is simply too much that is possible within the current QORA platform. If we were to make use of all of it, there would simply be too much running on a single chain, and we would run into issues with scaling, etc... similar to what we're seeing with ETH. We would like to avoid this. Therefore a more 'clear focus' is needed, and we believe the  Qrowd and Trade applications, will be the perfect use case for the existing chain.


Generation 2 - The social media / blog  revolution!


The next gen of QORA, which currently we're only naming 'Generation 2', will be renamed, and rebuilt into a Social Media and Blogging platform, with much enhanced functionality over the original QORA platform. Increased db capacity and improved network layer, and a whole lot of new features related. Such as video streaming, video hosting, and a lot more. The possibilities are truly endless. We hope to eventually have the ability for 'server side' things to be hosted within the platform.


- A 'clear focus' is ALWAYS needed on blockchain platforms... therefore, we will continue with this in mind, making Gen 2 into a specialized platform for Social Media and blogging, with an extremely enhanced ecosystem containing within it a ton of totally new ideas for 'fairness' and fair pay for good content. A lot of more details will follow.

- Many clones of QORA's underlying platforms will be created, each with their own specific function and design and use cases. This is how we will make the most of the platform overall.

- With the 'Trade Gateway' developed on Gen 1 QORA, there will no longer be any real NEED for exchanges. Also, the Trade Gateways themselves, will be MUCH harder to manipulate, since they will not be useful for bots, or 'day trading'. Giving the projects that are ONLY listed on these gateways, MUCH more of a REAL value. There will be a LOT of interesting uses for this, and a lot more.




The Trade Gateway itself, is already in development, and should be completed in a relatively short period of time. The SuperNodes, still need discussion on how exactly they will function, but also won't take long to implement, but will definitely require a fork, I believe only a soft fork, but maybe a hard fork will be necessary. Updates will be provided as they come.

Good strategy, keep your powderdry until you're ready to start marketing a stable wallet with a functioning network, preferably with a lite wallet as well. Doesn't do any gòod going off to pro toe things that aren't ready for mass adoption, otherwise you get Bitcoin experience from late 2017 with unusable expensive services.

If Qora gen1 holders don't get any swap, what keeps the community supporting Qora gen2? I need some more explanation to be convinced with this plan.

when trade? It will be almost 2 years. What have you done for 2 years. you are constantly talking about different things. first qoracoin then you have to focus on something else. wait wait.

 I have also lost my hopes that Qora will actually regain some value. Qora was skipped big crypto hype 2017, now I do not know at what stage it is. ideas do not cost anything;)
