C-Cex has confirmed their wallet is updated

Please ensure you are on the same block number as the explorer before moving any coins

Trading is open on C-Cex again now.

Once we have confirmed the nodes are all updated, some of you will need to re-sync after you have upgraded to v1.2.0.0
The update is going well so far, and will be ready for all new wallets to connect soon

Apologies for the disruption,

A little confused. I downloaded the update when I was notified and synced up. Then I saw the post here and closed my client immediately. Should we still have our clients off even if we're on 1.2.0.0 already?

sorry for the confusion,

The key thing now is to check that your wallet matches the block count on the explorer, if it doesn't then you will need to re-sync. Now that the nodes are all updated and the new fixes are implemented you can now all run your new wallets.

If you wallet does not sync or is stuck syncing, let us know on here or by PM and we will help you re-sync if needed.

There will be a period of time while the network settles down that some wallets may still show as not connecting, this is normal while the ban times pass, and we have alternative nodes for you to connect to if needed

I'm showing 30,421 blocks but there's 30,418 according to explorer, Sad.

The block explorer updates every 2 minutes, please check again and report back.

Thanks

Looks like I'm good. I checked c-cex and while I don't match the explorer I do match them, so figure that should mean it's fine.

Thanks, Smiley.

Refresh the explorer page and check the block count on the bottom right of the page, this is the actual block height of the explorer daemon. The main page of the explorer only shows PoS blocks. While we wait for more staking weight on the network as more people upgrade their wallets, we are creating some PoW blocks, so the numbers shown on the main page will be a little behind.

The coin is from the developer who created BOOST, MAIA and lot more scam coins. Stay the f away from this coin. Do not support a low life scam developer and his coins.

Assuming Mammix is the one that developed both of those, it still wouldn't matter. Your claim is like saying the attorney that filled out x company's incorporation forms is a scammer because the company went on to scam years later. His job is irrelevant of what his clients do -- he does development.

I am having trouble getting my wallet to sync. When I first start my wallet, it says that I have either 1 or 2 connections, and it eventually outright disconnects from other nodes.

1) Close your wallet
2) locate your application support folders (In these locations)

Windows:

Compare you results with the block explorer as that is correct to all the nodes.

If you still experience problems please report back on here or PM me
That was able to fix my issue with not synching, however now my wallet is connecting to only a small number of other nodes (max 2-3 connections).

Did you not read this message?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1364104.msg14073274#msg14073274

If you are using the latest v1.2.0.0 wallet when you sent the coins, then once YoBit update their wallet your coins will get credited.

Reminder: Do not send or withdraw any RBIES from YoBit or Livecoin until they confirmed they have updated to latest v1.2.0.0 wallet. We will let you all know when this happens

C-Cex has confirmed they are up to date.

It's possible only if you have the RUBYCOIN wallet address and private keys, and even then its not guaranteed!

Despite the amount of noise and we've been making here and in the chat rooms about the updates, there are still people trying to connect using earlier wallet versions.

If you have not done it yet, update to version 1.2.0.0 asap as re-sync. Any coins sent using the older wallets after block 30246 will not be valid

There will be a period of time while we wait for everyone to update to v1.2.0.0. Try restarting your wallet, this sometimes helps to re-initiate more connections

Your claim is like saying the attorney that filled out x company's incorporation forms is a scammer because the company went on to scam years later. Correct. Consider the analogy that a wallet is like a printing press (for coins). Once the developer delivers the printing press to the client, what's being printed is up to the client. It could be the bible, fake US-dollar notes, satanic verses, Shakespeare's poetry or pornography; the developer has no control over this anymore.

From an infrastructure point of view, the developer's job is done once the wallet is delivered. How that wallet and the coins generated are being used, it then up to the project team supporting the specific coin. If you have scam accusations against our team, lets hear them and see your evidence. Otherwise please take your FUD elsewhere.
