2012-10-26 07:20:32 It is indeed one of the oldest altcoins then. wow i didn't know it but terra still unnoticeable and the price really not making any pnd for sure if more advertisement will be provided and more usage value will state itself hoping for the best for you dev i will keep following this project to know more about the updates and incoming progress. |

Good news! The android developer got back to me last night, and he has begun working on the android wallet!
Also thanks to whoever is sending in the donations to the TRC general donations wallet!
Now for some ideas about the next version of the wallet.
I was thinking:
Upgrade to the Bitcoin .13.1 code
Add Zcash's private transactions
Remove the "X blocks expected" warning
Work some sort of "tax" into mining block rewards that would be something like 1 TRC per block, halving as the reward halves. So each block would generate 21 coins with one being sent to the TRC general donations address. This will give the TRC Foundation funds to pay for future enhancements.
What do you guys think?
Also feel free to add whatever you think should be in the next upgrade. Thanks!

I think we should not do hard fork again until TRC is strong enough.
Tax is a good idea for going forward, but since the TRC is very cheap now, I think we can raise the transaction fee per transaction.
The rules could be like this:
The transaction fee is 0.1% of the sent amount.
Maximum transaction fee should be either 10TRC or the max amount calculated by original rule.
Part of the transaction fee is sent to the foundation's donation address.
By raising the transaction fee, it will be beneficial to both the miners and the foundation (to promote the TRC) and it will not change the TRC's base parameter (42 Million coins)
No need to hard fork, I think. Very little cost for TRC transactions. No hurt or cost for TRC holders.

How do we make TRC stronger? Any suggestion is welcome. When I said the tax part I was talking about mining blocks, not transactions since there are so few transactions. What does everyone else think? I am pretty sure changing how either blocks or transactions are managed would cause a hard fork. So let's talk about this extensively. |
