Downloaded the Verge Wallet for OSX (not Electrum version). How long should it take to sync for the very first time?

About the fork will be credited the coins or not? If Yes then where better to keep Verge on the wallet or on the exchange?
Wallet is smarter. 1) Backup your wallet.dat files (depends on wallet type maybe) 2) wait for update files. Dl them, update wallet. 3) Copy your wallet.dat file back into wallet directory. thats the QT wallets. I forget if the other wallet types use same thing, or just seeds. Exchange... depends on THEM. if they upgrade, all is good. if they dont. u lost all your coins. Wait what's going on with xvg? This coin had a future now it sits very low with no chance of going back to 0.25 cents No chance. sell out now. |

Faster to dl the block itself from that other link in the OP. (or on website) Dl might take 20min Sync might take .... heck dependso n your speed. 5hrs to 2-3days.... all depends. |

I think no one can tell it. It won't go down unless the market crashed, in last week Bitcoin price went down faster then Altcoin price also went down. That was the chance you should have taken, If the market crashed again XVG price will go down along with other altcoins. However, XVG is preparing to jump high in near future you better make a decision sooner. |

Can someone explain to me how it is positive for verge that south korea will (try to) ban all anonymous currencies? Verge is an anonymous currency if you want it to be so how is this ban positive for verge? Im wondering this for days.

(or depending on which news site you read...) its all Coins that are local... so an anonymous coin would slip thru the cracks.(in theory) and wondering for days.... i took 2 minutes to search, came back with that link. I download electrum-verge wallet but im traying to fix because i sent some XVG and everything goes right but now it said that my wallet can´t connect, it appears a red circle and in the other side says "not connected" someone can help me about what can I do?

Will there be an updated Android TOR Wallet? Looks like the current one is from July 2017, I guess it won't support the hard fork?
If I have coins on it, should I transfer to the 4.0 Windows wallet?

Any advice which is the best mining pool for verge using Asic Miner..
I am getting roughly about 109 XVG per day on multipool using a L3+ but in the coinwarz mining calculator shows average of 130 and above. Please advice

i haven an L3+ no clue how many i could get.
Suprnova has an xvg pool as well.
i use hashtocoins nowadays myself.
bit more complicated, but cool.
